How has your Tuesday been? This morning I made our supper for tonight and I'm glad I did because I'm whooped! We decided to get out the wood chipper and take care of a few brush piles we had out back this afternoon. We started working under clouds and it wasn't uncomfortable. Then the sun said, "Watch this" and decided to bake us. We got the piles all chipped and I picked every single ripe tomato (over 10 pounds) we had before coming indoors to soak up the a/c and guzzle iced tea. Looking forward to relaxing now and not having to cook tonight!

Good day to you and wishing a happy weekend for you. Nice weather here and rain coming in for next week. We've been plagued with some of the Sahara dust the last few days. Woke up to a warm house Thursday morning . Thought the AC was gone being about 20 years old but the AC guy got it going and so far it's doing fine. Going to break down and get a new unit this fall when it cools down.....Have a great week and take care......George
FRIDAY IS HERE! It is a sunny 84* at the moment with a feels-like temp of 91*. I feel so badly for the tree service guys here cutting down three mega-pines in our front yard today. What a brutal job in such heat. Dew point is 73*. That is just plain miserable. I feel guilty sitting in the air conditioning watching them work. But I must admit, watching "tree tv" is pretty great. I know...I am easily entertained, right? Hope you have a fabulous day as we get ready to kick off our weekend.
Monday is here. And it has brought us sunshine and heat. Typical summer weather. Days like this I miss our pool. I really can't believe that July is nearly half over. Time is going so fast, isn't it? Enjoy this day rather it's hot, cold, wet, dry....just suck every good thing from it you possibly can!
