Good evening Lynnie. I hope your day has gone well and now its the evening and you can put your feet up and relax. I've not done a great amount these past few days as have been watching a show on Netflix plus I bought a good book from the OP Shop last week so that's been using much of my spare time LOL. It is too hot to be outdoors and I only venture out when I have too. I do hope your weather is not too cold and wet or snowy. I have seen the storm on the News. Soon, our seasons will be changing as the months are speeding by. Hugs Pat.
Good Morning Dear Linnie * Bless you for this day, of sun for us at least, have a great Sunday, hope your feeling good, & all is running smooth, Lots of Love, Karen
A good day to you & hoping all is well . Think it's going to be warm enough to grill some steaks out today so I can say I did something useful today . Enjoy your weekend & take care......George
Hi Lynnie--I'm still here but not as often as would like. Seems like I'm always running out of time and don't get here. Getting time to make supper but wanted to stop and tell everyone hello. Have a blessed weekend. Hugs and love Helen
Hi Lynnie. Here I am Dropping by at the end of a very hot week with temps averaging well over 100° each day, climbing to 110° yesterday before a slight cool change arrived this morning. It has taken a full day for the homes to cool down enough not to have the A/C working. Several other towns in the State registered just over 120°. Tonight it's quite a pleasant 89°. Needless to say, there was nothing a person could do outdoors so I decided to watch some TV only to find that most of the usual channels that I watch were televising the Australian Open Tennis and not the regular shows that I'm accustomed to. Thank goodness for Netflix and my faithful computer.
Australia Day is celebrated tomorrow (Saturday 26th Jan) beginning with the Australia Day Breakfast supplied by the Local Councils in most Towns and Cities followed by other celebrations. I don't think I will bother to go but stay at home quietly and watch the festivities on TV.
I do hope your week has gone well. Hard to believe that we are nearing the end of the first month of the New Year. Time passes so quickly. Have a lovely day. Hugs Pat.
