Good Afternoon, we are having very cool weather. It is wonderful. Just perfect. How are you doing? Ican't believe we are in August already. Fall is almost here and I am not ready for it. I want more Summer. My kids have been over a lot these past few weeks and I haven't had much time to go to my sites and post. It has been wonderful to have my daughter as she lives out of state. I HAD THE SAME TEST DONE TO ME I ASK ME DOCTOR TO DO THIS I HAD A PROBLEM I WAS FORGETING THINGS LIKE HOW TO SPELL MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S NAME AND I WAS THEIR WHEN SHE WAS BORN 25 YEARS AGO BUT FOR ME IT WAS FOR GETTING OLDER I AM 75 I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS FROM MY FALL I HAD IN JAN. AND HIT MY HEAD SO I WAS GLAD ITS JUST OLD AGE FOR ME. I WILL KEEP YOUR GIRL FRIEND IN MY PRAYERS.

Good morning Marge. Well the test went good for her yesterday. On a scale of 10 she got a good 9 she told me. So nothing to worry for the memory test. Now if I can get her to eat properly I would be very happy. Today is another sunny day and at noon the temp is at 80*. Good morning Marge. Well my girl had an appointment with her doctor for a memory test will see how she made out when she calls me. She Sometimes she has memory losses and is worried because her father died from Alzheimers and her brother has that for about four years now. A long time ago God had a great many burdens that He wished to have carried from one place to another on Earth. He asked the animals to lend a hand, but all of them had excuses for not helping: the elephant was too dignified; the lion, too proud; and so on...
Finally the birds came to God and said, "If you will tie the burdens into small bundles, we'll be glad to carry them for you. We are small, but we would like to help."
So God fastened upon the back of each bird a small bundle, and they all set out walking across the plain to their destination. They sang as they went, not minding the weight of their burdens at all. Every day the burdens seemed lighter and lighter, until the loads seemed to be lifting the birds, instead of the birds carrying the burdens.
When they arrived at their destination, they discovered that when they removed their loads, there were beautiful wings in their place. Wings that enabled them to fly to the tree tops and soar through the sky, closer and closer to God.
The burdens we carry for others, as well as ourselves, become wings of the spirit, lifting us to new places and bringing us closer and closer to God.
