The kind of vertigo I have is BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), which means some tiny crystals in the inner ear have gotten out of place and moved into one, or more, of the inner ear canals, and when they do this they cause vertigo when one turns his head in a way that agitates them, or something like that! At least when it strikes, it is only for seconds, and the spinning stops, however, it is dreadful stuff. On top of that, I also have generalized dizziness caused by an imbalance between the inner ear sections of my ears - this doesn't cause vertigo, but does cause a feeling of wooziness, or dizziness - not so much I can't function, but enough to make me feel crummy a lot. The BPPV is treated by putting one through maneuvers involving placing the head in awkward angles and turning it. The experts have learned (Thank Heaven) that doing this can put those miscreant crystals back in place in the inner ear, at least for a while.
We are getting rain today and the temp is only in the 60s, after having been in the 80s, so it seems a lot cooler. I do hope your temps warm up real soon!!!
