What is cooking this Caturday? What do you mean, you are tired of cooking?
The dogs may have gotten some of your cooking for Thanksgiving, but the cats didn't get a scrap, not a drop.
So you look here at me, and you better get us something to eat that is just as good as your Thanksgiving dinner was for you.
And our meal better include some of that pumpkin that settles an upset stomach too. I saw you sneaking some pumpkin pie last night and adding whipped cream on it.
The real reminder is you better make the cats happy, especially on Caturday! After all, we do have a day named after us. Now you have a good day and SMILE!

Did you remember to take pictures? We did pretty good, especially as they are leaving.
The girls love to get into Gram's nail polish. I might have a few bottles.
How many colors would you like to choose from? Let me paint them on you, so I can decide which one I want to use on my nails!
Of course, nails were in between making Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Cookies. By the way, they turned out delicious! My girls have learned to be very good cooks.
It was an Amazing day that was enjoyed by everyone. Even the 5 dogs (3 ours + 2 of theirs) enjoyed the day. Many memories were made with lots of laughs and a few pictures were taken.
Don't rush today. Deep Breath! Everythings will be perfect, after all, it is Thanksgiving!
Take lots of pictures and enjoy the sounds of laughter all day! Make joyful memories!
Share your blessings with others so they will have wonderful memories too. Tell stories from the past that make everyone laugh.

Let us start this day anew and not go back to yesterday and the list.
Tuesday is for moving forward. I am asking Jesus to lead the way for me to follow.
That means I can't sit in my chair in front of this computer all day which is one of my favorite things to do.
It also means I have to do something with this hair that probably needs washing in the shower.
My only hope might be if everyone looks into my heart and not what my hair looks like today. I will have it looking better before work in a couple of days. Do you have a hat I can borrow?
There are days that you just want that third cup of coffee and the pot is empty.
So this week I am working on Thursday. It will be a busy day and I am already trying to get organized.
Some days on my list of todos, all I see are spots. You know bla bla bla.
Then there are days where the sun is setting before I get back on track to finish one thing on the list.
So, this Monday, I believe that I am going to get everything on my list done! Now don't laugh.
Nothing is going to distract me today. I got Blessings & Hugs sent out to you and that is now marked off my list. Wish me luck with the rest of my list.
Each day I look through the pictures and graphics on my computer (851,255,122,487 bytes - 851.98 GB on disk) to find the right ones to tell you a story. I always try not to reuse pictures. However, every now and then, I run across one I have used but really like. As I was scrolling today, I came across this one and thought to myself... SELF, that is exactly what you look like sitting in front of the computer right now. My hand was under my chin and my fingers were curled. What a nice Friday day with snow on the ground which is putting a twinkle in my eyes and a smile on my face.
Just put together a nice soup mixture in the instant pot and my can't wait to have some of those oyster crackers mixed into the soup.
Just had to make up some gingerbread spice flavored coffee to make my day even more special. May you have a glorious day sharing your smiles and your giggles. Smiles Gloria
Thursday was an entire day of rain. The rain was a cold and a wet rain too!
The view from my computer room where I couldn't even see the mail truck putting mail in the mailbox.
So what is a lady to do? Well, make chicken and dumplings, of course,
While it is cooking, I might as well make a Pineapple Angel Food Cake.
Then add cut up pieces of Grand biscuits, let the dumplings simmer a bit and get your appetite ready. There might be a little bit left if you want some. It is better the second day anyway!

What a fabulous Thursday we are having! 80-90% coverage of RAIN!
The total rain is supposed to only be 1/2" to 1" so it should be a nice gentle rain all day.
The temperatures are cooler but 50' to 60's which means we shouldn't be freezing the rest of this week.
The flowers and plants are getting a drink and not covered up. So glad we got to run errands on Tuesday and got our grocery pickup run (1 hour one way) on Wednesday.

Let it snow, Let it snow! Such a treat this morning seeing some snow on the ground. Puts a smile on my face. Look what came to the feeder also this morning, giving me such joy.
The rest of the story though is that it has been raining and snowing so it is very slippery outside today. A good day to make up some home made soup and stay in doors. My goodness one must have those cute oyster crackers to go along with the soup. Gee I sure know how to spoil myself. hahaha .
