Our weather was 53 degrees today. That was warm. My hubby did leaves. He didn't know if he would be able to do them at all cause it has been so cold and we had so much snow about two weeks ago. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. hugs, shirley

Good afternoon to you. my weekend was a bit quiet, hope yours was enjoyable.Today is nice and sunny, waiting for at least 3 days of some much needed rain starting on Wednesday.
I'm thawing my Cornish game hen for my Thursday dinner.
Been watching a vet tv show called The Incredible Dr Pol about an old vet from the
Netherlands , moved to Michigan, son helps him out but isnt a vet..wife does office work. has 40 employees! They make home calls in terrible cold icy Michigan winters..fascinating to see
them deliver calves using chains to pull them out! He has a great sense of humor and is fun to
watch. He's training a new vet from Georgia not used to the Michigan winters and is quite an
adjustment for her! She laughed saying she likes to go out on house calls because the clinic smells like anal glands and dog poop! LOL The vet has beautiful black Fresian horses they use for sleigh rides,,fun show to view!
Read an article saying koalas almost extinct in Australia now due to the many that died in the
wildfires..sad.
Nothing much going on here..just eating, napping , watching TV..lazy ole me!
A nice day to you. For me I am having a glorious day for it is snowing. BREATHTAKING! Rained over night so ice is under this snow and I am indoors for the day . One of my jobs today is snow watching and what a neato nice thing to do to make one smile and feel warm all over. Chili is in the makings for the day and of course I can't forget the oyster crackers floating in the chili.
