Good evening to you. Had some rain overnight and did see a bit of sun near noon. Temp was about 50* today. Snow is melting slowly and lot of bare spots on the lot and broken branches on the ground from the winter. Can't send sun your way as none here to send to you. Have a nice evening and take care. Good afternoon - how has your Thursday been so far? Hope the rain has let up some as it's another sunny warm day here with no rain til Friday late. My day started off going to the chiropractor - couldn't do much for my hip - have another two appts. next week. Then I went to pick up a refund check going to have the EMG - didn't know a co-pay was not needed. I was hungry - no breakfast - so we stopped around 2 to have lunch at a little place that I like. We aren't hungry and don't want any dinner as yet and I don't cook late - so maybe just snacks or something. Did some work out in the yard and pruned some the fig tree and another way over grown thing that has been neglected for 15 years or more. Can't do anything with that but at least I got out to enjoy the weather an got some exercise. Have a good evening - happy Thursday! Hugs, Wendy

Well I have been busy too with yard work. Bob and I planted 8 rose bushes on Monday, we planted 3 of the eight Tuseday it rained all day Wednesday it was ok so we planted the last four. and then on Sunday we put peat moss around them because it was suppose to get down to 30 at night. So that would help them. They looked like the all survived the cold snap. Now is to warm up and at least not get down that cold again. But we have had so much rain that the ground is saturated! So that should help them not to freeze too. Anyway so that is what I have been doing at least in part. The rose I planted were mainly what they call subzero roses so they are used to the cold. But when they arrived in the mail they said to plant them right away so we did. Although three of them are not sub zero on is a climber with hardly any throns on it and suppose to be a great surviver too. one is a peace and the other an Angle Face non climber lavender rose.
