Well, I knew I had to bring something since it's taken me so long to wander over here. Blame it on the holiday hoopla. Or procrastination on my part. Or just plain laziness. Whichever you think applies. Mostly I think glue applies. Yes, I can adhere to that statement. Although chocolate can be mighty sticky and tastes about 1000 times better than glue. I think...yes...I'd rather stick with chocolate. Unless maybe it's to gum and envelope. I don't know if the postal employees would appreciate a chocolate-y flap. Mostly because it might look like another brown substance that no one would like to find on their mail. But I won't say what that might be...
Yep, I've been muddling along pretty good. Had snow, but it's melting fast. Hope you have been successful at appearing to be busy. If all else fails, pretend to be a monkey typing "War and Peace". Be sure and pile your desk with bananas (hide the chocolate underneath--you can make a banana fort for it--or eat one of the bananas and stick a candy bar inside the peel, carefully wrapping it back up--or just eat the darned candy bar and toss the peel where anyone who might feel some errant need to see you busy can sorta slip on it--problem solved--hospital vending machines usually stock chocolate something-or-other...) and don't forget to scratch under your armpits and look carefully at whatever you might find there before eating it.
Okay, gotta go. I have bananas to gather and typing to do...(I was going to put the first line of "War and Peace" here, but it's too weird for me...oh, who am I kidding? "WELL, PRINCE, Genoa and Lucca are now no more than private estates of the Bonaparte family." Gad, no wonder I've never read that thing! Now my fonts are all messed up. See ya in the funny papers...
