Hi Darlene got online a tadd late today as i was filling in them holes with mixed soil and some  Grass patch. 

I was also touching up the garage floor scraping and sanding then painting.I had to go way on the other end of the house and  get that looking  nice too .

I just don`t know when to stop for a rest im constantly going.

I did my best with Summer , im sure she will join  Boomers and i hope you do too .We just moving to a new home.

I  feel lbad theres no  forums  there

It`s pretty sad  but i hope you get there  so you can still chat with us  once in awhile and you can still be with the friends you know here.

Happy Easter Callisto

we had an egg hunt last week actually because it was the only day we could all get together as a family.

so yes the kiddywinks coloured their eggs very prettily.

then we hid choc eggs all around the garden for them to find /we played chick chick races ,and went fishing with nets from the side of the pool duck fishing .

all good fun .

had a great early easter .

so this week i am gardening .and getting fairies and gnomes back out of ther packing boxes to make my garden once again magical .

Hi Darlene  Wednesday night its going to get pretty bad ,an ice storm is on its way. 

Our area won`t be getting the worst of it , but still it can be dangerous. 

 I will be more cautious than i was last time.

If we had weather like this  more often  i would have some cat litter handy.

Don`t know if you heard of this yet.

The next time all seven planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,
Uranus, and Neptune) will be visible together in the night sky is on
February 28, 2025.

However, they will not be in a perfectly straight
line, but rather appear in an arc due to their orbits.

Darlene many years ago at the old house i have had that before . 

Its called Baileys Irish Cream. 

It is good.

I must of finished it all or we would of taken it  with us when we moved .

All i have today is Crown royal for highballs with 7 up .

Back then i was not into coffee like i am today but i bet that irish cream would make the coffee taste delicious.

I think this year ill be  staying up cause its going to be quite noisy .

We are due for some snow tonight and also tomorrow we may get a couple of inches .

Maybe if it holds out  we might have a white christmas :)

Just think 3 more days and we are in Winter.. 

By me Darlene there are nothing but homes all around street after street.

I`m  lucky that they built that Walgreens store there the year they did 1994

.Was suprised to see Summer online  i was  eating a peanut butter and banana  sandwich .lol

  I think ill  take a good nap and stay up and be online for New Years Eve.

1 night won`t hurt .  :)

Darlene i split the boxes up so i could keep the bigger box out in room temperature .

Wont write much at the moment ,its very early days .

and i am doing everything i have been told to do .

the operation went well Thank You .

I had the other eye done in 2019.so i sort of knew what to expect .

i have to keep putting drops in my eyes for another two weeks or more .

but its all for the good of my eye healing .

im fine and will write more another time ,

and inanswer to your Halloween question .

No it seems all the kiddywinks that used to come each year are all grown now .

and i think the parents are very careful these days .instead of knocking on doors ,they seem to have little parties and just go trick or treating with folks who live close to where they live ,

i think its best these days to be cautious dont you

I was and am a big fan of Dark Shadows. I'm slowly watching it again on one of the channels. I recall everything you mentioned. My oh my was Barnabas so cruel to Willie. The most gripping scene was when Willie unchained the coffin! It's awesome you have the entire series!

Funny weather isnt it ? 

Hi Darlene

It was 93  here  yesterday and today im outside wearing a jacket.

It is  quite cool

And you have your furnace on?

That sure is early.

Maybe you had an awful lot of windows open . 

On days like this i only get in enough cool air  so the air in the home is just right .

Some keep all their windows open all day long.

Before i even open up the curtains  they have them open.

That temperature does not stay the same for very long .It can creep down and become quite cold.

Fix that correction and the games we have there are quite nice

I am pleased with them .

We are due for rain by morning but just incase it does not rain ill be going to the store

.My luck they will start paving the street. 

Its all set to get retarred and look like new.

It`s going to be a little humid  here they say and  going up to 80 degrees.

Going to rain throughout the day too.

Would of wanted to hose down the windows   but that can get done  next week .

So glad i got my lawn cut and out of the way .

Hi Darlene in a few days ill be ready to go shopping again, im due. 

I wont be walking like a speed demon. That would of been a real hoot had it been on youtube.

I did have that last pizza today since i was  walking downstairs  and doing some exercises  too.  For tomorrow ill have  sweet potatoes  and vegetables.

Will be eating early since i have to go for a bloodtest  at my hospital Monday. 

Tuesday its senior citizens day at Walgreens. 20% off everything .

So i will visit there.

Its not too far just 4 blocks away

Then Wednesday i go to the bank  to add to my checking and see if i was given that $29.04 that was stolen from me back in December. 

I will get the food shopping done and will be  free from chasing around  for awhile.

Summer did not say this  at the time she told me to tell you, but she will be dining out at a posh restaurant  after seeing that play.

She is a very busy lady always on the go .

The weather here is quite nice  but i will have to wait before i can  plant any grass seed  here.

We are due for more cooler air by the end of the month.

Took my central air cover off  today

.If it does snow it wont be too much to worry about.

I have a big job ahead of me planting  that grass seed. 

Once i start those squirrells will have to stay off of there for good.

I`ll have the hose ready lol and they will learn fast.  God bless ,,,xRick :)

Well Darlene maybe they might change things and leave the time alone.

An hour isn`t too bad .

Many don`t sleep well  to start . 

But somehow we all get through it.

I`ts done so it will stay daylight longer  in the evening during the spring and summer months. 

Helps keep crime down as well.

At least it used to.

We did have a coating of snow on the sidewalk and grass this morning.

Would you believe im going  quite fast tonight on the computer?

I can`t explain it  other than signing into my youtube account.

Once i did that i found myself going fast like always.

As cold as it is outside ,you think that static would be worse.

So i have to see if it stays this way.

when i was in America for thanksgiving last year .

yes i did have fried turkey .he cooked it in a deep fat fryer and it was very nice actually

they cooked two

the other one they cooked on a smoker in the garden and that was lovely too .

very very different but tasty all the same ,

If i have a latte i always ask for a skinny latte .

its half fat milk and not as heavy ,but still tasty .

the little outing you went to with the fire sounds just divine ,i too like to look into a fire and make pictures in my mind from the embers .

you see another world there if you look carefully and imagine .

I do put inside and outsite light up hun .

i too love the twinkle they give and its very welcoming when i come home late and get greeted with those twinkles.
