It's Friday! So happy to see sunshine today. Yesterday was dreary and tomorrow is supposed to be a washout so I'm beyond grateful for the sunshine and 70* today. Enjoy what is left of today and let's get our weekend off on the right foot. YES, I understand what you're saying about being chilly in the house when it's warm and rainy outdoors. We commented the very same yesterday, Dave and I. There was a chill in the house but it was humid and upper 60s outside. Weird.
Nope, got nary a flake of snow so far. Glad you and Augie have enjoyed it this winter. Most ppl that get it complain about it, but you two rejoice:) Rain here for rest of the week. 'Tis Friday! Yayyyy! Lots of us will be in the deep freeze for a few days, some w/snow, some w/o. Stay warm & safe! Yes, I remember "fish on fridays" from grade school lunchroom days. Fish is one of our favs, any day of the week:) The South is famous for our fried catfish fillets. Absolute tastiness... w/hushbuppies, slaw, pickled onion, fried pickles and fries. The sun is quickly warming the air from 14º to 28º this morning. Doc appmt day for DH, then takey-outey BBQ for our meal. Make this a really good day, Darlene:) *hugs*

Darlene, you mentioned the sparkles on the snow and it brought back fond memories. I, too, loved that. At night it was like tiny stars on the ground and, in daylight, it could blind you with it's shine and glitter. Enjoy the snow enough for me, too, please.
No snow here, but it got close..just 90 minutes North, it is a winter wonderland. Not even any rain..which we don't need. Looking at the extended forecast, end of next week we wioo see mid 60'x. Spring arrives March 19 this time..it's going to be a bumpy ride no doubt -:)
Happy sunny Sunday to you. At least I hope it's sunny in some way. We buzzed to the store for bird seed and a few craft supplies and now I intend to say my Hill hellos and rest! What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was horrendous and today is sunny and cold. We got just over 3" rain and the wind did a bit of damage to things but it could've been much worse. Dave is working on repairing our arbor that fell partway over and and came to rest on a fence. The little fish pond overflowed and the backyard was a swamp. But today, with the sun shining, life is better and MJCH prettier. I hope this storm system wasn't unkind to you. Enjoy today, Darlene!

Have a warm and restful Sunday. Darlene, Lisa lives about 20 minutes from me. She lives very near to where our oldest daughter works at the doctor's office. Dave commented yesterday that if all the rain we've had was snow, we'd be buried. More rain coming again Tuesday. More rain=more mud. Not too excited about that.
Hi Darlene. A quiet day here and apart from the usual house chores I've not done anything exciting. All the usual Group activities that I go to are on their Xmas break and won't commence until the end of this month or early next.
It's been Humid and thundery weather here these past two days. We have had some rain but so far have missed out on the heavy storms that are causing flooding in many areas. Mainly in the built up City places where the water can't run off. The rains that we have had this summer are good for the Countryside and also the gardens and keeps everything fresh and green.
There's a Gardening show on TV as I sit here. There has been quite a few good tips on this time. Usually it's a bit "Ho Hum" but not so today. I'll definately be trying out one of the tips. Will be a project for sometime this week.
