It is a cold, windy Saturday and I'm enjoying being indoors looking out. We did venture out earlier to visit one of our favorite antique shops. Wearing our masks and just meanering through, we came home without making a purchase (a rare thing). What is happening with you today? Whatever you're doing...or not...have a great rest of the afternoon and a restful evening, Anne.
Such a beautiful picture this is and that is what it looks like here with the braches on the trees full of ice and snow. Breathtaking site! Sounds like some more snow coming our way for Sunday. MY how I love the winter days as this season shows off its beauty. May you have a pleasant weekend. Smiles Gloria
Yesterday was a bad hair day. We had winds between 40 & 50 mph. It was one of those days where you could hardly get the car door open and then it would try to blow off the hinges. As I was getting in with my hair blowing every direction and shutting the car door, my hair got caught in the door. I had to get the door open again and get my hair out in order to move my head without loosing a lot of hair. Ok, just a strand or two. Gotta love Texas weather. Today is calmer with some sun and even though the rain is coming next week, we should have highs in low 50's to mid 60's for the next 10 days. So, if you don't like your weather come on over for a visit and we will sit on the back porch with blue skies and let all our worries drift with the clouds as we watch the birds fly by.
Hello happy weekend for you. Cool nights here then warming up into the 50's and 60's. Went the other day for the Corona 19 vaccination and had no adverse affects at all then go back first of February for the second. have a great weekend and start for the new week.....George
Just a few more hours and we may kick off our weekend! I need to get a few things done before I can call my day a success. THEN I will introduce myself to the couch, pick up my crochet, and relax. Hope you get done what you set out to. IT'S FRIDAY, Anne!
good morning! hope you had a nice week...we are getting more snow here...2 to 4 inches...i don't have to go anywhere so going to enjoy it..have a lovely friday...much love marykay
I'm late again, Anne! Seems I handled my time better when I was a working woman. Retirement has us on a "who cares, it'll get done eventually" schedule, I believe. LOL. It's been a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and temps in the 50s. I hope that you, too, have had a beautiful day, rain or shine!
