Good afternoon my friend. Its a lovely day here. Its a cool 75* out. We got a half a inch of rain last night. We need to mow but the hubby has been working on the mower. Still can't get it to start. Memorial Day is here but please never forget what this day is all about.  

You might be at home today with family and friends getting together.  

Or you might be on a summer vacation with family or visiting friends since school is out.  

Wherever you are or what you are doing, I hope your flag is flying high to remind others of this day and what it means to so many.  

When you look at flags today, remember the meaning of then flying in the wind, the last breath of those that gave their all so we could be free.  

After all, so many gave their all for our freedom.  The true meaning of Memorial Day.

Hi Anne - hope you are having a good Saturday even though you might not be getting this.  I was in all day but the good news is I graduated from a walker to a cane but am getting around the house without it.  Went out Friday nite to the Moose - sure was nice to see all my friends.   Had a lot of people gathered around our table and had a nice time.  Have a good rest of the memorial Day weekend.  Hugs, Wendy
