Good afternoon to you. Its a pretty sunny day here today. And up in the 70's. I got some wildflower seeds planted in a pot outside. Now I just have to wait for them to grow. I got me a couple of white shirts to tie die here in a little bit. They are in the washer right now. Hopefully they will turn out pretty. Not much else going on. Guess I need to get things set up in the kitchen to color the shirts. Take care my friend and I will post the pictures on my photos tomorrow after I get done rinsing them and getting them dry. Take care and many hugs to you, Cheryl
Happy May 2st Anne - it's a beautiful sunny but very windy day here. Had storms blow thru here lat nite and a tornado about an hour away from us is Virginia Beach, Va. So I guess this is still the aftermath. I got up early (7;45) to go for a stress test prior to my surguery and they wouldn't do it cause I had a helf cup of coffee - was supposed to be NPO but was never told. It seem coffee dialates the vessels around the heart. It's rescheduled for Thurs. so I have to get up early again - UGH. How are you feeling, Anne? Any better? Do you know what's wrong? please let me know - I'm still saying a prayer for you. Hugs, Wendy
Here you come again, just when I'd begun to get myself together.
Now sing that all day... and think of me!
Maybe a little chocolate cake with your morning coffee will help start the week off right! I prefer Braum's Cherry Pie with my morning coffee.
Gosh we miss Miss Kitty! Yet, since she had a leakage problem, I haven't worn shoes in the house since she went to Heaven to wait for us. Always look for the positive in every situation.
Besides, as often as Mondays seem to come around, so do the months and years. Do you remember 1978? OFTEN, I still think of myself as this thin, energetic, able to do anything person. Boy, do I look tall there too!! All those boys are WAY taller than those two Moms are now.
Time sure does fly whether we are having fun or not. However, there is lots to be thankful for after all these years. Julie (my friend in Lubbock) and I have been friends for a very long time and have wonderful memories. I hope you take time on this Monday to remember friends and family and to give thanks!
Evening Anne - How was your Saturday? Hope youare feeling a bit bette. we went to the American Legion's 1st Annual Family Fun Day. They had face painting and a bounce house and maybe a couple other things for the childred to do. Also had big fresh mad hamburgers/cheese and hot dogs with all the fixings. Honey's brother woke me up to ask if we were going as they were so it's a ways away, but we went. Sure wasnt happy to eat hambergers/hot dogs for breakfast, but I got it down. Tomorrow is the installation of officers at the Moose club. I made potatoe and macarroni salad when I came home after I got up from a nap. Have a relaxing Sunday and stay well. Hugs, Wendy
