The month is flying by and I think I have more weeds than beautiful blooming flowers. How about you? We have been so hot and so dry and even after our one day of showers the hot weather is back again.
I think I have all these flowers somewhere in my yard and not one of them is blooming or looks this happy! I have lost a few of my favorites this year.

HI THERE DIBIJO, WELL AT LAST I HAVE TIME AND THE INCENTIVE TO GET ON HERE AND ANSWER SOME COMMENTS. JUST HAVEN'T FELT LIKE IT RECENTLY SO TOOK A BIT OF A BREAK.
IT HAS BEEN HOT HERE BUT THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS IT HAS COOLED DOWN SOMEWHAT. SO GLAD OF THAT AS IA SEEM TO BE GOOD FOR NOTHING IN THE HEAT. YOU HAVE HAD SOME HOT DAYS YOUR WAY TOO, HOPE YOU GET A NICE BREAK FOR THE WEEKEND.
YES WE HAVE QUITE A FEW FIRES BURNING HERE IN THE PROVINCE. WE GET A LOT OF LIGHNING STRIKES AND THAT IS NOT GOOD, NEVER SEEM TO GET A RAIN ALONG WITH IT SO WE HAD 15 FIRES START THE OTHER NIGHT. YES I SAY YOU HAD A PRETTY BIG FIRE IN OREGON, I GUESS IT IS THE WAY OF OUR PROVINCES AND STATED EH DEB?
PEACHES SOUND SO GOOD BUT YOU WILL GET TIRED OF THEM BUT HOEFULLY YOU WILL GET ENOUGH TO MAKE YOUR PEACH PIE. YUM YUM.IN THE STORE THE OTHER DAY SAW THE RAINIER CHERRIES, THE YELLOW ONES WITH A PINK BLUSH ON THEM. MY VERY FOVORITES BUT YOU KNOW THEY WERE 8,99 A POUND AND THEY DO WEIGH HEAVY. JUST GRABBED A COUPLE WHEILE SHOPPING AS THE PRICE IS JUST UNREAL.
THE AIR CONDITIONER IS OKAY , THE THING YOU PUT OUT THE WINDOW KEPT SLIPPING OUT OF PLACE BUT IT IS WORKING. NEEDS A COUPLE OF SCREWS AND SOMEONE TO PUT THAT PIECE IN THE WINDOW. I SEEM TO BE ALL THUMBS AT IT . USED TO BE ABLE TO FIX JUST ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THESE PAST YEARS , DON'T SEEM TO GET ANYTHING RIGHT. LOL

Instead of wearing a tree, how about living in a treehouse? Do you think a permanent home in a tree would be fun or would it get old?
How about a vacation in a treehouse? Would it be nice to get away for a while and disconnect? I think it would depend on the view.
One of my son's friends, Doug Thron, built this tree house in California, I believe it was in the mid 1990's. He was an activist for the Headwaters Forest. He is now a very famous Drone Aerial Cinematographer who is now saving animals in Ukraine. You have probably seen his drone work on National Geographic (Shark week) or his videos on YouTube.

I have been trying to stay away from bright colors like in this tree. OK, it might have been the lightning that I was trying to stay away from. But after 65 days with no rain, I might just have to throw caution to the wind. Can't wait to hear your suggestions!
Goodness it feels like fall is trying to come in . A smile is on my face. Cooler day and night temps and I am so happy. The tiger lilies are in bloom in the flowerbeds and they are the last flowers to show up as fall is trying to come in.

Do you EVER have one of those mornings? You know, you wake up to problems. Then several hours later you are finally ready to start your day and still need some coffee.
I guess it really started at 12:45 am. The dogs all decided to bark and run out the doggie door after waking up the entire neighborhood. Thank goodness I fell asleep early watching a movie and already had 3 hours sleep by then. Went back to sleep for another three hours after finishing the movie.
Ok! So now let's get this week started.
Monday Monday... so good to me!

It is so HOT that fake plants are the only thing that might be alive right now. If you walk on the grass next to the driveways, it just CRUNCHES under your feet. There is no green anywhere.
Our friends have flown the coop. Ok, they are driving back to Lubbock. Just say a prayer that the doctors find out the cause of her balance problems. She just wants a solution so she doesn't end up not being able to walk.
They drove off and I just collapsed on Hubby's shoulder. I cried for a while. I already miss them so much. I used to do that everytime my son drove away. But we will see them again... until then our love will continue to grow!
HI DEBIJO, SORRY DIDN'T GET TO YOU LAST WEEKEND OR SOONER AS IT HAS BEEN SO HOT OVER HERE AND MY AIR CONDITIONER WENT ON THE BLINK FOR A FEW DAYS. OKAY NOW AND GLAD OF THAT AT IT IS GOING TO WARM UP AGAIN HERE FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF WEEKS. WE HAVE 100 FIRES BURNING UP HERE, AND I SUPPOSE MORE TO COME IF WE GET MORE THUNDER AND LIGHTNING STORMS.
I DIDNT EVEN COOK IN THAT HEAT BUT TONIDHT WILL MAKE A NICE PORK CHOP WITH NEW SPUDS AND A SALAD. HOW ABOUT YOU? YOU BUSY AT WORK THIS WEEK?
I BET YOU DIDN'T WANT TO GO BACK TO WORK AFTER HAVING ALL THAT TIME OFF WHICH WAS REALLY NICE FOR YOU. EVEN IF WE ONLY GET A COUPLE OF DAYS OFF WE ALWAYS HATE TO GO BACK TO WORK. LOL
