Busy week for me. Yesterday hubby and I started a project and 5 hours later we were at a stopping point, so we quit for the day. Today, Ole Man Winter surprised us 12-15 hours early. So we had to bring in plants, throw the plastic over some and cover others. Then we had to go to drop off our tax information and thanks to "illness in that area," for the first time ever, we couldn't wait while she did them, sign them, pay for them and be done. So who knows when we will hear from her and get our refund. After we picked up an order at the Vitamin Shoppe we came home with our WhatABurger taquitos. Several hours later, after researching Mac programs equivalent to Windows programs because some Windows programs don't work on iOS, I finally gave up and decided I had better get here to see what you have been doing.
Are you decorating for winter? Or has winter decorated for you already? I know that it will probably get us once or twice in the next 7-10 days. Do you ever feel like this?
I do believe this is how our area handles everything nowadays. Just don't forget our pets and feathered friends. Blessings & Hugs!
Good morning my dear friend, today in Seville it rains, it is windy and cold. I like it, since we can't get out because of the virus. Have a good day ... take care! Kisses
hi there, how was your week-end? it's been freezing here, don't think it's gotten past 20 since last friday. i am so ready for spring! hope you have a nice start to your week...warm hugs..mk
Hi Debijo, So great to hear from you. Well I watched the Super Bowl yestersay and saw Tom Brady and his team smash KC Brady and his receiver went from the Patriot's to the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's. I really like Tom Brady and Grock. So good to see the ol' guys still have it in them and can beat the young cocky whipper snappers that KC's quater back and team are. Tampa Bay was running fast and furious and the young bucks for KC just could not keep up with them. final score was Tampa Bay 38 and KC 9. Tom Brady still looks young at 43. He left the Patriots last year he and his old coach Belicheck (sp) did NOT get a long and Grock left the year before to go into retirement but Tom Brady went and talked to him and got him convinced to come to Tampa Bay and he did and now the dynamic duo are back again. Grock himself is 38 and the Tampa Bay coach is the oldest coach out there. So as I said before great to see the ol' boys win and win big!!!. I used to watch the 49's too when Montana and Rice were their dynamic duo. But quit when Joe went to KC but didn't do so well there. Well anyway to me it was a good game ... enough about the super bowl game. But it was fun to see how fast and smart the ol' boys were. :)
It is hard to believe that Valentine's Day is so close. I hope you have a wonderful day today and everyday and Valentine's too.
How are you doing?
I am so sorry it is been so long since I was on here. I try to come and do comments but seems like, just as I sit down to that very things something is always coming up and I get up and make breakfast, or dinner or something else. Just life. Thank you so much for being my friend and not giving up on me. I am doing fine so far thank goodness. I hope you are too.
Well, the sun finally came out this afternoon and with that a slight warming, repeat, slight. I usually change my nails about every 3 weeks and I finally got that done late yesterday.
So now I'm officially ready for the Super Bowl. Oh no, I mean Valentine's Day. I have always painted my nails and used to make my own swirl colored nails to put on. Now I use ColorStreet! They just stick on and are already decorated but come plain too.
Thought this was a cute idea if anyone is looking for something to make with their grands. Could be made out of paper or felt.
Thanks for your friendship and enjoy every day as if it were Valentine's Day!
Guess who is heading to Texas? I really don't know how some of you survive the cold weather. Really don't know! We are 46, overcast, drizzing rain and it is miserable. And we have lows in the 20's coming for a 7-10 day stay. I love the 90's and am ready for late spring to get here. And I know some of you wonder how we survive our heat. So I'm here just to say
Last night my youngest granddaughter called me to share her exciting news. She has 4 chickens she has raised from baby chicks and just got her first 2 eggs. She will be 12 in 2 weeks. She loves all animals and is a pretty good Whisperer. She wants to be a Vet.
As you may know, I love taking pictures. This morning it was dark when I got up... so I had to wait for clouds to thin out in order to get the burning bush picture above. And even that was about 5 pictures. I love the way God paints the morning and evening sky.
And you have to be patient (not my strong suit) and keep watching. This was about 45 minutes later. I hope you enjoy my pictures. I never tire of taking and sharing them. My hubby says, "Yes, I've seen the moon before."
Happy Tuesday and Happy Groundhog Day! They said Ole Phil saw his shadow & we'd have 6 more weeks of Winter weather. It's 45 days til Spring π·πΊπΈπΌπΉπ and I can't wait!
