Caturday is here!  The weekend has begun, well, for those who get up early anyway.  As a baby, my son got his days and nights mixed up and they are still that way!  

I have a special delivery for you from FedEx.  I can tell you are "chancing" one eye to see what it is!  

Do you know how good pumpkins are?  If your dog has an upset stomach give them canned pumpkins.  I always keep a can or two on hand.  

Did you know that cows, deer, chickens, ducks, etc. all love eating pumpkins?

Oh my list is so long that I don't even know where to start.  Our Medicare Specialist went over the new plans for next year and we are saving $$$.   

It started raining last night about 9:15 pm and rained on and off until after 5 am this morning.  Yes, we are ever so THANKFUL.  The big cracks in the yard are now very small and shallow.  What a Blessing!  

I am always thankful for coffee.  I love the smell of it much more than I do drinking it.  However, I love drinking it too!  

There is nothing like love jumping on you when you walk in the door.  I am not sure we will ever get another pet or dog but at the same time, I can't imagine life without one.  

I am so blessed by all the friends that I have and have had some of them 40-50 years or more.  New and long time friends mean the world to me!  

The journey hasn't always been smooth but I am so grateful for the road we are on now and where He has led us.  Glad you are part of it too!

Don't I look excited that it is Wednesday?  I am waiting for rain, lots of rain!  

Yesterday was supposed to be our last Hot day and we are supposed to get some rain.  Time to put away the sunglasses for a few days!  

We all know that after the rain, we will need them again, no matter the temperatures.  

My favorite thing about Fall is all the Orange.. pumpkins, leaves and skies included.  

Taco Tuesday is here!  Our neighbors are back home and now we only see Gus when the kids are in school.  

It's OK.  There are lots of other creatures that will grab our attention today.  That is a dragonfly but it looks like a fairy!  

We don't have too many eagles in our trees but it is always an "ah ha" moment when I do see one, especially taking off in flight.  

There are so many things in this world to see and I thank God for all the photographers!  And yes for the different seasons!  

We have the promise of cooler temperatures and rain in our forecast.  I think we are catching up with the rest of you soon.

Coffee Time!  Monday is already here and October is here!  What will this month bring to us?  

Every day when I go outside, I look up at the sky!  This morning the moon was big, white and round in our blue sky.  

Isn't it amazing how each day is different and very unique.  I never get tired of looking around me.  

The amazing things that happen way up above us.  God's handiwork!  

The creations that change every day, sometimes in an hour.  He is truly amazing.  Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Welcome October.

October had tremendous possibility.

The summer's oppressive heat was a distant memory,

and the golden leaves promised

a world full of beautiful adventures.

They made me believe in miracles.

It was another win for the Texas Longhorns even though the first half wasn't pretty.  So I am happy today!  

That's what I look like every day when we feed Gus the cat and give scraps to the chickens.  

They just pull at my "heart strings"!  Our neighbors will be home sometime Monday so today will be our last evening to gather eggs.  

Nothing like being a Mother Hen!  But we love taking care of their animals.  It was so cute when we "call" Gus and he comes running to us.  He knows we love him.  

The most fun thing each day is to share your love with someone else.  Sometimes it is a hug, sometimes a smile, sometimes just a call.  Let's make it a great week and share our love!
