Here we are again, Monday. What shall we do this week? Water the yard and the plants again every day in front one day and in back the next day.
I can see out the window two of the hummingbird feeders. I see hummingbirds drinking and chasing each other around. Oh maybe I will go sit and watch them this morning.
But the sun is already shining too bright and the heat is already too hot to sit for very long even on the patio. Where is that North wind to cool us off?
So the next best thing is to find a dark and quiet spot to read a good book.
I think a steaming cup of coffee would be the best way to start this Monday off right.
Then find a steamy good book to read and the week is off on the right foot.
And hope the yard can make it one more day. I'll just give thanks for the beautiful sky above it.
OH DEBIJO. A WONDERFUL BACKGROUND, VERY NICE INDEED AND SO FALL LIKE WHICH I AM SURE WE ALL WOULD LOVE AFTER THE HOT SUMMER ETC. HOPE YOU GOT A LOT OF THINGS DONE ON THE WEEKEND OR MAYBE NOT?? IT HAS BEEN HOT UP HERE AND SO VERY HUMID TOO. THAT MAKES THINGS MUCH WORSE WITH ALL THE FRIES WE HAVE HAD IN B.C. THIS SUMMER. JUST SO MANY OF THEM AND A LOT OF SMOKE TOO.
IT IS STILL HOT HERE AND HUMID TOO. CAN'T WAIT FOR FALL , MY FACORITE TIME OF THE YEAR. YES IT REALLY IS SO HARD TO SLEEP , I GOT ONE OF THOSE WEE FANS AND AIM IT ON MY BED AT NIGHT, NOT RIGH ON ME BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, IT HELPS A LOT AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM SLEEPING. SORKS GOOD .
THERE ARE BLACKBERRY BUSHES BEHIND ME FALLING OVER THE FENCE. PICKED A FEW THE OTHER DAY BUT THEY WERE SO SOUR. SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN HELP THEMSELVES. I LIKE THEM RIP.

I had such delicious strawberries this past spring. My plants look like they won't ever come back after this summer's high temperatures.
I just got this in an email, can you believe that we used more AC last year? Well, we did turn the thermostat warmer a couple of degrees. However, my water bill that just came was triple or more this year than last year.
However, after the summer we have had, we will be grateful for the lower temperatures and rain when it comes.
Why do Fridays feel so different? Just knowing that the weekend is upon us makes us go crazy.
