GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Connie, I pray YOU have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY/HUMPDAY/VALENTINE'S DAY, and are having a WONDIFEROUS WEEK, my friend...
Hello my dear friend… As you can see-it’s snowing! The weather forecasters rarely get things right. They said 5-6” of snow. Now we’re going to get about a foot! I love the snow and these trees out back are beautiful. My husband will not be happy because it will hinder his walking every day. Whatever your weather today have a good one. Love, Augie
Happy FAT TUESDAY, or Shrove Tuesday. People doing buffets, all you can eat; dressing in costume; drinking to excess and needing bail money, etc. All this before having to don clothing made from burlap on Wednesday, ASH WEDNESDAY. Have a fulfilling day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello. Monday is here and so is this writer. Nothing planned for today. Maybe having a call with my tax people. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello, happy Sunday... Hope you are enjoying your weekend, it will be coming to an end before we know it. Superbowl day for those who watch it. Chiefs vs 49ers. I don't really watch football these days, but did a long time ago and was a fan of the 49ers, so I guess I will root for them but probably won't watch it. Anyway, hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a great week.. Take care, debijo
I'm so over it! When I go to church on a Saturday afternoon, kids will be screaming and running around. I fail to see why these people come to church except to torture people such as this writer. I try to sit in the Mother's Room for quiet and meditation but it is no use. These people seek me out to make my life miserable. I keep thinking I can use this for a penance...... but it never ends. Screaming kids........ and staring at a pious man such as this writer. Is there no end to this!!! I shall use this for prayer and my Lenten abstinence.
Some Michigan history, 1956 a colony in THE NEW WORLD: Michigan Motorists Can No Longer Determine Their Own Speed Limit! On February 3, 1956 highway speed limits of 65 miles per hour by day and 55 by night went into effect in Michigan. Prior to this motorists could determine what was safe and reasonable. Just some light news for today.
Good morning. Happy Saturday. Auditing my refrigerator this morning, there is a glaring weakness of the product in my refrigerator, namely chocolate milk. I think I have enough for today. It shall be a game time decision on when to mount a safari to go out and get a refill. I have also come to the conclusion that my wrist is not getting better and that I believe it is carpal tunnel, or whatever they call it. I have heard of this situation in the past and people going under the knife to rectify the situation. I shall try to avoid that as long as I can function reasonably properly. I imagine everyone is getting pumped up for FAT TUESDAY. I noticed quite a few pages celebrating ASH WEDNESDAY. My understanding is that Her Majesty will not be having a contest for that. Outside of the job of the chocolate milk and going to church later, I shall be doing nothing. I have toyed with the idea of going to a pancake breakfast at the church tomorrow but then again, I would have to participate in something, and that is not my long suit. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Friday. It is about 41° F and that is the high for the day. The nice weather is coming to an end as far as our warm temperatures go. We will be getting back to normal as the earth is moving away from the Sun. The good temps will return when the Earth gets to the other side of the Sun. My agenda is fluid for today. Looking into a crystal ball, I see myself walking over to the convenience store for bananas. I am on my last banana right now. It looks terrible but the inside will be acceptable. I was hoping that my wrist would return to normal after taking off the sling. There are still some problems. One can only hope for the best. I went to church yesterday and almost turned around and went back home. As I entered the vestibule, I could see the inside of the church and there was someone sitting in my place. As Sheldon Cooper would say, you're in my spot! This is unheard of for a daily Mass. I eventually conquered my feelings of insecurity and went to a different area. I am going to find the reserve signs they use for funerals and hopefully it will eliminate all of my problems in life. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Greetings. Waiting for the rain at 3:45, and it is warm. 44*, heading for 55*. This is bordering on record temps for this time of year. The big project for today, take the recyclables out to the alley, if there is not anything on the TV. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Some pics from the walk yesterday. The one good thing about my changing times to daylight is I can see some things not seen in the dark. Live long and prosper.
Spring is people having the garden up to par.
This will be here all year without taking decor down.
