We are nearing the end of December and the end of 2022. I hope the whole month of December was magic for you and that you enjoyed it to the fullest. As we start a new year, I hope you are ready for the best year of your life. I am excited to be off until Tuesday, January 3rd. I should find out that week how much longer I will be working, probably only a couple more weeks. I'll let you know soon.
Hello Pal, guess you are on your way home by now. Sounds like you had a good trip and enjoyed time with your family. We have rain on the way and I bet you do too, in N.C. Yesterday was very warm with Spring-like temps. It felt wonderful after that frigid weather over Christmas. All my plants are moved back out to soak up the sun while we have it. I began taking down some Christmas stuff yesterday. Will do a little each day so it won't be so overwhelming but the tree won't come down till after the New Year. I think I'm superstitious about that. lol. Hubby is enjoying retirement and last night we watched our team (Florida State) win their bowl game. It was a close, exciting game but we won by 3 points. I would not even go outside and get the mail if we didn't have to check on the chickens next door and get their mail. Ok, now you see the real me drinking hot coffee all day long.
good morning Pal, well it's much warmer here and feeling a lot more like FL is supposed to. haha. I will move out all my plants pretty soon. They are sitting in our middle bedroom that we don't use except for storage. Has it warmed up any in Jersey? Wow, that's crazy about the water pipe bursting. I know that was a mess. It's good they got y'all moved quickly and compensated with the gifts too. Sounds like y'all had fun shopping. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Skechers store. Probably because we don't have them where I live. I do love Skechers though and the last 2 or 3 pair of sneakers I bought were that brand. I get them at Shoe Station. We have warmed up here a lot and will be back in the 70s tomorrow. Can't say I mind! My plants will be happy to get back out in the sun too. Your page looks pretty! Happy today, pal.
