No matter what kind of Christmas tree you have or the size of your tree or if you have no tree at all, my prayer is that the Star of Bethlehem shines on you and your loved ones not only at Christmas but all year long. Thank you Jesus for all my friends, family and especially for your LOVE!
Hello Pal, Glad to hear your sister and family are doing as well as can be expected. It will take time to adjust to things, I know. It's a good idea for them to live near each other I would think, for support. I haven't done a whole lot of Christmas shopping either and most of what I did do was online. I have about 2 more gifts coming in the mail but am through besides that. I never know what to get hubby either cause he doesn't need anything so I get him a gift card to his favorite store usually which is Bass Pro. Guess you have been busy cooking since you had to take a dish 2 nights in a row I think you said. Yesterday the girls and I went to lunch then shopped at Target and boy they were crowded. My son in Jax is coming to visit on Mon. and bringing some fish he caught. We'll fry them up while he's here. Yesterday was hubby's last day at work. Tired and Retired. haha!! Its a cool and breezy day here today. I think that is just the way its going to be for a while. I could do without the wind though. I hope you are having a good day my friend. My day has been okay. Went shopping for some groceries. Walmart was extra busy. Don't think I will go back there until after the holiday is over with. Well enjoy the rest of your day my friend and stay warm. The seminar/Christmas Dinner was wonderful last night. We had 23 clients there. The guest speaker from American Funds or The Capital Group was awesome and everyone seemed much more at ease over their investments after he spoke. The food was very good at Texas Land and Cattle on the Lake. The Christmas tree and two Fireplaces were nicely decorated and very inviting. Oh, and the Christmas Music was perfect. I had fun visiting with our clients and putting faces to the names that I talk to on the phone. Hope you are about ready for Christmas.
