Hi there. Its a very pretty day here. But I have been inside doing things. I made a batch of peanut butter fudge for Thursday. It aways goes fast. I have my turkey thawing. I usually don't do a turkey at the large family gathering but this year my mother in lay has a cold and doesn't feel up to doing it. So my house will smell good Thursday morning. I hope aren't to busy with things to cook for Thanksgiving.Well take care my friend. And if I don't have time, have a good Thanksgiving my friend. many hugs, Cheryl
Hey Pal, I watched a little of the Cowboys game yesterday. Not sure where they were playing but it sure looked cold there. We had a cold weekend beginning Friday. Yesterday our highs were about the same as yours. 45 with a feels like temp of 43. Did NOT feel like Florida. Mostly it was the dampness that made it feel so uncomfortable though. Sunny and 45 is better than cloudy and 45 any day! Sat. I went with hubby early to get a few things and am now mostly done with my holiday food shopping. We saw plenty of turkeys too but Steve usually gets the smoked turkey breasts at Walmart and they have not had them this year. I suspect we will be doing a whole turkey. We mostly only eat the breast anyway and there is usually some wasted. I got a pretty big Boston Butt roast and I would be happy to just smoke that and skip the turkey except it is tradition. The stores were crazy crowded yesterday after church when I stopped at another store to look for the turkey breast. They didn't have it either! Never had bacon fried rice but boy that sounds good. lol. Bacon makes everything better, so they say. We will have a group of 9 this year for the big meal. Today I need to do some cleaning and laundry. So glad the sun is out and moved my plants back out there to soak it up. huggies, Beth

Watching the Eagles football game right now - hope you are having a relaxing Sunday Rider. will miss my Cowboys game at 4 as we'll be on our way to our friend's house to play dominos and they don't watch football anymore. Oh well, I'll just record it and hope they win. Enjoy your day and keep warm.
Everyone has enough leaves already this Fall to make a dress because winter is already here. The weekend is a time to relax. Get outside and enjoy this time of year around a fire. However, don't forget to Thank our Lord for the beauty all around us.
