The holiday food boxes from church are packed with foods, a $25 gift card for people to buy a ham or a Turkey. Plus we have a frozen whole chicken to go with the boxes.
My day off is half over and we have survived the skin check at our yearly doctor visit. Now if we can just survive winter as we seem to have skipped Fall completely. Mid 30's at night with NO SUN and only mid 40's during the day is definitely winter in Texas. Is it February? Did I miss Thanksgiving and Christmas? We are often in the 70's and even 80's during those holidays. I hope you are having a Blessed week. Only 3 more days at work and I'll be back soon. good morning Wendy, hope the game was fun last night and the lady didn't fuss about the food. How did the casserole turn out? The baby shower was so much fun on Sat. I think it went well, overall. The them was sweet as can BEE so we had honey and lots of little bees here and there. I co hosted it with my neice. She made a Hummingbird cake and cupcakes. You may have seen the pics on FB. If not I'll share them with you. It was so pretty. She wrapped small sheets of beeswax around the outside. Anyway the mommy to be got so many nice gifts for the baby and a few for herself as well.
Glad Nicole didn't drop too much rain on you. We got probably less than 2 inches but it did help. The cool front came through late Sat. evening and dried us out. We are almost frosty this morning. I covered my plants on the deck last night. Those under the carport were on there own . lol. Have a good new week, pal. love, Beth

good morning Pal, I know you ane Rich will enjoy the ceremony at the post today. Nicole still isn't out of here completely...kinda damp and gray out there with misty rain. You are probably getting some of the affects of it now. We only lost power for about 2 hours yesterday. Could have been much worse. I am going to town to pick up stuff for the punch tomorrow and get it chilled before time to leave. Also making all the food today so it will be a busy day for me. TGIF and have a good weekend, Wendy!
