I am so happy that October is behind us. The colors in the sky are so amazing this time of year. I know my picture from the back porch isn't as colorful as professional photographers, but I never get tired of MY view!

Its a beautiful Fall day here. Its 75* and the sun is shining. Not a lot going on here. Just getting the laundry finished and then I can do anything I want. good morning Pal, I know it's a relief for your house to be back to normal without extra messes to clean up. The worst thing here is cat hair everywhere! Anyway I'm sure your friends appreciate your generosity. The veggie beef soup sure sounds good. I'll be making a pot of it when the weather cools off again. For us it will be a warm and balmy Halloween. No, we don't typically get trick or treaters except the girls and maybe their NC cousins or wo are visiting this year. They will have plenty to spread among the 5 of them as I bought a 2 lb bag of chocolate. I bet you had to buy a lot more than that with so many kids coming. good morning Pal, well I know you will certainly be glad for the dogs to go home with their family and I don't blame you. That's a lot to have to care for. I only have 2 and that's a handful at times. This time of year is so busy with ball games and parties and festivals. We'll be home just watching our team play later today. Hubby wants to grill something so I guess I'll wiggle out of cooking at least. He has venison taken out to thaw and some chicken wings as well. Yesterday was a fun girl's day out. We went to IHOP for a late breakfast/lunch then shopping at the mall. I only got a few items at Bath & Body that I had a coupon for. I don't get over there very often so I like to stock up when I do. They closed down the store closest to us, a couple of years ago. There were so many people out and about yesterday due to homecoming for a local college. Our team didn't even have their homecoming because Hurricane Ian hit that same weekend it was scheduled for. Hope your last weekend of October is a good one, love, me
Finally Friday evening... work is done this week. I am probably working through the end of the year. There is no way to know when Kelly will find someone to work full time. So I am there until that happens.
Today was another "rain all day while I was at work" day. Started raining after I got there and quit about 30 minutes before I left. We had 1.8" in the rain gauge. Isn't our river pretty in the backyard of very green grass?
Hi there. I hope your are having a good afternoon. Its a cool and breezy day here. Cloudy and have had a little bit of rain. But not enough to do any good. Went shopping this morning at Walmart and got the things we needed. Then came back home and got the laundry and dishes done. So I'm done with the housework, well I do have the clothes in the dryer. So I will have to put them away after while. Not much else going on here. Just decided to get on her and get comments done for the weekend.
