Are you up late at night? Do you go outside at night or do you go out on the town at night?
Do you look up at the moon and wonder who else is looking at the same moon?
My cousin and I often take pictures of our moon and share it with each other and say, "We are looking at the same moon."
Even though the scenery surrounding the moon or the colors of the sky may not be the same since we live in different states.
Sometimes we can't even see the moon because the clouds have moved in to obscure it.
Then at times, the moon looks so big and looks so close to us that we could just reach up and touch it.
While in another state, far away, the moon looks like it is a very long way off and that the stars are trying to outshine it. Which is your favorite moon?
Hi there and good afternoon to you. I have gotten all my housework done and now I can relax.Its a warm afternoon here again in the 90's. We have a cool front coming in tonight that will cool us down for Saturday and Sunday and will give us a chance for some much needed rain. Hello Pal, what have you been up to? Haven't heard from you this week. Nothing much going on here. Didn't make Fri. plans with the girls as the crud is going around again. I've been watching coverage of Queen Elizabeth's life and death. It's been on all the major networks as you know. She will be so missed. The next 3 on the throne all male. May they lead with even a portion of her grace and strength. We are gray and gloomy here with rain on the way, up to 5 inches they say. The best thing is the temps though, always a sliver lining isnt' there? Much more pleasant and almost Fallish. Yesterday was errands out and about, came home and rested because I wasn't feeling good. Think it was just acid reflux. I'm going to eat dinner earlier and see if that helps me to not get it as frequently at night. Talk to you soon. Enjoy your weekend. The moon was so beautiful last night. I love that I can see it coming up through my living room windows. There was not a breath of wind after a warm and humid day.
I bet if you looked real close, you could see the cow jumping over the moon. Perfect weekend for high school football and homecoming for my grandson. Perfect weekend for College Football. Also a perfect weekend for tailgating at the Cowboys game!
I am truly blessed with my hubby, but I never got him to color my hair and I do it about every 4-6 weeks. Now he can't see well enough to do it... no telling what I would look like - hehehe
Went with Rich to see his doctor today - all is well. Left at noon for his 1:30 appointment. It takes an hour to get there and he likes to get there early. Afterwards we stopped to get something to eat as I hadn't eaten anything before hand. Both of us had big hamburgers and he had cole slaw and I had potatoe salad. It was a bit too creamy for my liking but ate some of it anyway. Took it home along with half my hanburger. Rich just colored my roots so I'll look decent again when we go out tomorrow nite. When you take a vacation and take pictures, do you ever think what it would look like at a different time of year or in a different season or under different weather conditions?
Have you ever captured a lightning strike on camera? How blessed is the person that captured this... a rainbow and lightning.
None of the lightning pictures I have are anything like these. Can you imagine... a heart and lightning going through a cloud. Amazing!
Have you ever known someone who got struck by lightning? After looking at this picture, just think about what happens in a body that gets zapped. I don't think I'm going outside with an umbrella anytime soon. I hope you will get out there and share your smile today!
