good morning Wendy, well our sunny dry spell lasted 2 whole days. Still it was nice while it lasted. We're back to humid and cloudy today with rain on the way later I think. I need to be doing some clearning but here I sit online. lol. Yes, my granddaughter starts freshman year at college later this month. Remember when I went to Missouri in May? I went for her high school graduation. Glad all your food turned out good. I agree, need ice cream with apple pie! The girls came yesterday and I used the rest of the toppings and french bread to make more pizza for lunch. They got to make their own the way they liked it. Also got the Loreal hair color done yesterday and got rid of my gray. That's funny about running in to people you know at WM. I usually manage to do that too. At least I don't wear my PJs. haha. I see so many shoppers in their pajamas and slippers. Have a good Tuesday!
Good afternoon my friend. Its a hot afternoon here. Its 99* and breezy but we have several chances for rain this week. And cooler temperatures. I look forward to that. Won't be on here tomorrow as we have to go to Amarillo, Texas (which is a 3 hour drive one way) to my husbands diabetic doctor appointment. So that will take all day. I had a busy morning so just now getting around to visiting with everyone. Not much going on this afternoon, but I did get a much needed nap in. Hello Pal, just left you a long comment and I don't know what I did, but poof! it disappeared so here I am again. We had another big storm Sat. night that dropped more than 2 inches of rain. The sun is drying us out now and I'm glad about that. I've had enough of the wet! How did your pie and your baked Ziti turn out? Friday was my day with the girls. WE went to lunch and then shopping at Target for school supplies. It was absolutely packed with shoppers getting dorm supplies for college. They are moving back in this week. I've never been in there and seen it that crowded, even at Christmas. They do have lots of cute stuff for the home. I ordered a mini fridge for my g'daughter who moves in to her dorm this week too. It should be delivered to her mom's house later this week. She'll have to pick it up when she has time. On Sat. I was out running errands with hubby. I got the stuff to make mini french bread pizzas for supper. He is not a fan of pizza but they turned out good and he actually liked them. Happy new week, hope you are getting rain if you need it.
Sunday is such an awesome day of the week. Time to relax and reflect on the past week and look forward to the start of another week of new possibilities.
New memories to be made for the young and old. New ways to share our love with each other and to make each other laugh out loud.

Good afternoon to you. Hope it is a nice one for you. I have noticed the days are getting shorter and the nights here are cooler. We sleep with the windows open at night and oh do I enjoy the fresh air. Not much going on here. My husband was here for dinner or some people call it lunch. Was nice to see him even though he came to get the tires that came by FedEx. :) I have all of my housework done. Do need to vaccumm so I will get that done soon.
