Do you EVER have one of those mornings? You know, you wake up to problems. Then several hours later you are finally ready to start your day and still need some coffee.
I guess it really started at 12:45 am. The dogs all decided to bark and run out the doggie door after waking up the entire neighborhood. Thank goodness I fell asleep early watching a movie and already had 3 hours sleep by then. Went back to sleep for another three hours after finishing the movie.
Ok! So now let's get this week started.
Monday Monday... so good to me!
After all, it only has to get better and I hope you sing like Mama Cass song all day long now!
me again. Just found your other message about the moonlight. I love that! Now I know why you love the moon. I love it too and always take time to look at it in the evenings, esp when it's full and providing more light. It's very dark n the rural area where I live and the full moon really lights up everything and it's beautiful. Yes the long days are nice, esp if you have somewhere to go or something you need to do late in the day. I don't mind Summer except for Hurricane season, which is about to be in full swing and we are in the path of so many of those systems, it seems. The ice cream is a treat this time of year! No DQ near us or anywhere really except a Sonic. Have a good week!
good morning Pal, it was another stormy wet weekend for us. I drove home in a heavy downpour yesterday. I swear it was a flash flood. The water was running across the highway and I was glad to get back home.
How did your banana bread turn out? I haven't made any in so long but my husband really likes it. We didn't get to go to lunch Fri. katelyn was not feeling well. I ended up going grocery shopping that day. We were out of everything. It's hard to believe how much I spend on pet food for 4 pets! Hope your granddaughter had a good birthday. Fri. is my son's birthday and I need to get his card and gift card in the mail today. He and his wife will be visiting soon when they head this way to the beach on vacation. It is so HOT that fake plants are the only thing that might be alive right now. If you walk on the grass next to the driveways, it just CRUNCHES under your feet. There is no green anywhere.
Our friends have flown the coop. Ok, they are driving back to Lubbock. Just say a prayer that the doctors find out the cause of her balance problems. She just wants a solution so she doesn't end up not being able to walk.
They drove off and I just collapsed on Hubby's shoulder. I cried for a while. I already miss them so much. I used to do that everytime my son drove away. But we will see them again... until then our love will continue to grow!
Well I got my salsa made and there's still a few tomatoes left. I can't believe we're already going into Fall soon and the next thing we know the holidays will be upon us. Have a good day and a great weekend!
Well, all 7 tests were done and they also talked to the surgeon. He is not 100% sure of the problem and doesn't want to do surgery and have her wake up and tell her that wasn't the problem. Woo Hoo for him! So they are staying another night as she has a balance test this afternoon.
As you can tell, I am excited that they are staying another night. I had so much fun yesterday with all 6 dogs. Pink is so well mannered, she won't come in or go out the door until she is given permission. Our dogs run over you!
So I am heading off now to spend more precious time with them this Friday before she has her balance therapy. Have a Blessed day and a great start to the weekend.

Hi there and I hope you are having a good day. I have been having a busy one as I have packed our bags for a weekend trip to Oklahoma City to see our oldest daughter and her two sons. I always look forward to seeing them. They will start school on the 15th of this month. They are growing up to fast. They are age 7 and 4. So I won't be on here tomorrow but I will wish you a nice weekend and see you back on here on Monday. I went and did some shopping a little while ago. Got me a new pink shirt and got it in the washer so I can wear it in the morning when we leave to go to Oklahoma City. Its a 4 hour drive there but it doesn't seem like it takes that long anymore.
