I know how you felt, Wendy,took two people to get me up the other day!! I ordered a sacroiliac belt which arrived yesterday. Tried it on today. Feels good as it comfortably gives support without being irritating. Had 'nuff of being old - giving up and will try to go back a couple of decades.

Thanks for the visit to the zoo Ryder - I love the zoo. Norfolk has one but have never been there. Not too far from where I lived in Jersey but it was all open land and free - of course the monkeys and lizards and such are in cages - but all the big animals are in big open lands. Good morning to you on this glorious day! I went to lunch yesterday with Kelly and Angela. What a blessing! Then we voted on the 2 amendments in Texas as early voting started this week. After that we walked Costco, got Hubby's prescription and a few items on our list.
I do love her expressive eyes! Yes we are working outside today, pulling weeds, getting brush cut up to put in trash cans for pick up tomorrow, and checking to see if any new seeds have burst out above the soil yet.
Hubby is already in for a water break and to let his screaming legs have a rest. Yes, I have dirt under my fingernails already (didn't take time to put gloves on) and now I am sending you "Blessings & Hugs" as I head back outside. Come on over! You are always invited. We can play in the dirt or just sit on the patio and watch the hummingbirds!
good morning Pal, sorry to hear you are having such a rough time with pain in your hip and back. Hang in there with that PT, I'm sure it will be beneficial in the long run. We are sunny and cooler here and it's picture perfect weather. Yesterday was busy with errands. Tomorrow the girls are coming to spend the day, hope the good weather is still here so we can maybe picnic outisde for our lunch. Bet your soup and garlic bread were good together! I've never made mushroom soup but I made French Onion Soup and it calls for red wine. I know the alcohol cooks out of it but you could still taste the wine a little and I didn't care for it. Next time I will leave out the wine. I've been making Asian salads lately with homemade dressing for lunch. Hope your Thursday is good and that you are feeling better! hugs from sunny FL, Beth

I planted 8 pots of flower seeds and mowed with bagging it all front and back. We had about 10 large bags of grass and weeds. Then I went to Brahms for milk and Rosa’s for taco salad. Perfect weather from 46 to 73 today!
Tomorrow I am having lunch with a couple of the girls. Then I have to go to Costco to pick up Hubby's prescription and pick up a couple of things. Can't wait to share my smile with others.
Its a nice and warm spring afternoon here. I got my tomato and cucumber seeds planted in pots on Sunday. Now just time to sit and wait for them to sprout. Hopefully they will come up. I had 4 bluejays buy my birdfeeder this morning. Wish I could of went outside and taken a picture but they would of flown away. Oh well. They are pretty but noisy. Feeling much better now, Wendy. Was a throw-back to an old injury from when I was nine. All I was doing was making my bed when "whoose" out went my back and I couldn't walk. Guess I'll just have to go back to being lazy :))) Enjoy the day.
Hello Pal, glad your sister had a good birthday. I'm sure you enjoyed the trip to DQ and not having to cook dinner. We don't have a DQ nearby, closest is 20 miles away at least so it's a treat when we do get to go. Love the Pumpkin Pie blizzards in the Fall. We are already feeling Summery here and I've been outside watering plants and cleaning up behind our outside cat. She loves to kill little critters and leave their remains out on the carport for us. lol. Tomorrow is my hair appt and have errands to run after. Will catch up later in the week. About 3:30 am I woke to a vibrating dog who does NOT like thunder and lightning! It is one of my favorite things! The Rain Angel left us with 1-1/2" of blessed rain. Oh how my plants are singing praises today!
So as we say goodbye to April showers, we say hello to May flowers! (Thanks Anne for the graphic) Blessings from above! And an added bonus of a cool front. We are in the 60's today and should start Taco Tuesday in the upper 40's.
