Another chilly start to the day but things are changing. This week we will be in the mid to upper 80's and winds of 30mph with gusts for the rest of the week.
Now as someone who took Algebra, Trig, etc. a million years ago and as someone who still loves to work with numbers (excel) even today, I don't get the new stuff. How about you?
By sharing your smile, you can be a blessing and help someone else who might be dealing with troubles.
good morning Pal, it was a busy and stormy weekend for us. Sat. night the storms blew in during the night but it cleared early Sun morning long enough for us to attend the sunrise service. It was beautiful there on the water and I know you saw the pics I posted on FB. My son and his wife visited Sun and spent the night. I made a big dinner per usual for our Easter. I thought of doing a ham steak like you did but they were kind of expensive as it was and I would have needed 2 or 3 so it was just as cheap to buy the half ham. I made deviled eggs, green beans with new potatoes, mac and cheese and yeast rolls. Also a big banana pudding. Your meal sounds good too. I love yams and/or sweet potatoes and they go so good with any kind of pork. Glad to hear your PT is helping. Keep up the good work. Sounds like our rain moved right on up your way. My sleep was disprupted Sat. and Sun night with those storms because my little boy dog is terrifed of thunder and wil wake me up when it's storming. Today the sun is out so pretty and drying up the nearly 3 inches of rain we got. Have a good Tuesday! huggies, Beth
The sincerest form of gratitude is to make good use of the things we have been blessed with. Hoping Easter was refreshing, I wish you a great week. We will have Carnival this week in Brazil. Hugs.
Many of you have seen this already but I still have to share my family. We had a great time yesterday. We ate Hard 8 BBQ (brisket, sausage, pulled pork, chicken, fried okra, beans, blackberry cobbler) and we had so much fun just visiting.
And of course, the first thing I had to do was put on new nails before I could leave the house. May not have makeup on, but I have to have nails done! I got pictures from several friends... grandkids with Easter bunny, flowers blooming, jokes. So do you have any pictures to share?
Whatever you do this new week, SMILE and share your smile with everyone you see.
No plans, Wendy. Locked down 'cos of C-19. Don't know how I got it - duh! Bin so careful. Have had all four shots so a mild case. Still it's uncomfortable. Hope you are safe and well.
I have actually had to water the hanging baskets. They dry out so fast in the wind and sun. But isn't this a glorious time of year.
In between working in the yard, I sit on the patio to rest and watch for hummingbirds. I can identify at least 3 different ones so far this year. Of course my favorite is the male with the black head and the ruby throat (especially when the sun hits him just right).
Now if I can just keep the dogs out of the flower beds and stop them from digging in the mulch. I find it everywhere. But then they look at us with those puppy dog eyes and I just go rake the mulch back into place.
I guess they are enjoying spring as much as we are as they run, jump, dig and bark at everything. So don't forget to share your smile.
Hello Pal, how has your weekend been so far? Did you meet friends at the Post last night? Hope your back and hip are feeling better. I had a busy Friday with the girls. We went to lunch and then shopping for shoes and Summer clothes for them. The schools were out for Good Friday and the traffic and crowds were so bad everywhere. It was a lovely day though. Today we have a little rain and mostly just gray clouds. Guess our Easter plans may include an umbrella. Think I'm going to make a banana pudding tomorrow for our Easter meal. Not sure what else but probably a small ham or as small as I can find anyway. Have a wonderful weekend. huggies, Beth
Hi there. Its a beautiful day here and going to get up in the 80's today. Nice day to get out and enjoy the beautiful day. How are you doing? Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend my friend. Take care, Cheryl
Here we are, another Friday; but not just any Friday. Only God is truly "good". I am sending extra blessings to you and your family this special weekend. May you reflect on the sacrifice for our forgiven sins.
Weather was just about perfect here yesterday temperature wise. I did break a slight sweat in the sun but the breeze made it nice. Today isn't bad either even though the clouds have moved back in. So working outside again today I should not get hot. Hope your weekend is exceptional too! Blessings and Hugs!
