Just got back last night from being out of town since Sunday. We had to travel out of town to attend a funeral for a relative and just got back last night. So I'm back here seeing how everyone is doing and hope you are having a good week. We have another funeral to go to this Friday but its here in town. Makes for a hard week. One on Monday and then one on Friday. I'm doing good just doing the laundry. Got one load in the washer and one load in the dryer and another load waiting to be done. Hello Wendy, glad the PT helped. Maybe it will continue to benefit you and I bet he gave you exercises to do at home too. Yes it's hard to rest when you have stuff to do. When I rest between chores it takes me all day long to get anything done. lol. Maybe that's the point though. We had bad storms yesterday and so much rain that blew in from the west. My entire front porch was soaked and still is. More rain otw later today for us but hoping to dry out after that. I should be back home from my trip to DG and to drop off my SUV for repair before the rest of that weather moves in. We've certainly had a wet Spring so far. Hope your day is good!
Just caught the end of lightning about 1 am after the storms had passed. Early news last night reported one area that already had 12" of rain.
Our rain, downpour, lasted about an hour and we got 2". Last night we had our usual stream in the backyard. But this morning there wasn't even a puddle. We have been dry and are grateful for the rain. I love that it soaked right in.
I am a morning person and a night person. I love watching the sun come up every morning and listening for the "crack" of dawn, hurrying out to catch the colors that appear and disappear quickly. But I also love late night, watching the moon move overhead, feeling the cool breeze, and seeing millions of stars in the sky. What about you?

Hello Wendy, your page is so pretty. Love this set! Hope your weekend was good and that you hip and leg feel better. I can always feel when it's going to rain with joint pain in my hip. I used to think that was so funny when I heard "old" people say that! Now I know how true it is cause I'm one of those old people. haha. Our Sat. was gray and damp and kinda chilly and kept hubby from working outside as much as he'd planned. He has lots of fix-it projects going on right now. We think lightening hit our gate and disabled the gate opener that we've had less than a year. I know lightening hit something close the other day because the thunder was deafening right after. We also had a small leak in our waterline outside and one of the breakers went out in the switchbox that had to be replaces. So he's been pretty busy with all that. Taking my SUV to the shop Wed. to have phreon added. At least I think that's what it needs. NO car AC=unhappy Beth in Florida. lol. Sat. inght is our movie night and we watched Old Henry, (a Western) on Prime. We both love westerns. Hope your day is good and you are getting some nice Spring weather.
Guess what I saw yesterday and today? I cleaned out the feeders and put in fresh food and then it was nice enough, warm with not too much wind, to sit on the patio for a while. I have at least a couple of different hummers!
I am working Monday and Tuesday, so I have been extra busy this weekend working inside and outside playing catch up. Now of course, we watched Longhorn Baseball and Softball Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon too.
