Surely April means Spring! I know it means showers as we are supposed to get rain on Monday and Tuesday. I just hope it means the temperatures won't drop into the 30's again.
I am so ready to put flowers in the yard and hanging baskets full of flowers in the trees. We still need to clean out several flower beds and buy red mulch for all of them.
I am anxious to see butterflies and hummingbirds pollinating and all the beautiful colors of Spring. With all that being said, I am heading to the yard and sending you lots of ...

Hello Wendy, well March went out with a bang here. Storms blew in early yesterday, from the west and since we are kinda west we got them first I think. The sun popped out pretty soon after and I was glad because it helped to dry us out. I was just thankful we didn't lose power because much of my area did. The girls came after the weather cleared up and spent the afternoon. I'm glad those windy days are mostly over. March is always windy but it seems this one was worse than usual. Did you get anything good from the food bank? We have something called Farm Share here and I never know what days they are set up but my friend goes and shares the stuff with me. It's all kind of stuff but mostly canned goods, boxed pasta and some fresh produce as well. Recently they had mangoes, bell peppers and onions. I agree with you, might as well get what's offered. With the way things are going in this crazy world and prices skyrocketing, it's good to put by some extra stuff. Hope your first weekend of April is good! huggies, Beth
Hi there. Wishing you a great afternoon. Its finally not a windy day here. So march is going out like a lamb. These months sure do fly by. I will be ready for it to be warm out as I have some tomato and cucumber seeds I am going to plant in containers when it finally is past freezing weather. Not much else going on here. Just have clothes in the dryer. Take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Cheryl
Good Afternoon! It is almost Friday which means that it is almost the weekend. Well, it is the last day of March.
And before we know it, April will become May! Time flies the older we get and boy, there are days I do feel old. Ok, today may not be one of them. I am missing the warmer temperatures though as today is only 61°.
I am going to remind you to share your smile, send blessings & hugs to you, and leave you with words of wisdom...
Let's hope the sun keeps shining, Wendy. It's been a long, long winter for us. Yeah for April! Hello there. Enjoy your nice weather and stay safe and healthy.
We had rain for a few days~Now its nice 72~Birds are very busy~ We have Blue Jays~Finchs~Humming Birds~Alot of little Brown sparrows~ Hope you are well~ Enjoy your Evening~ Hugs Lorri
We survived the early morning storms. After an inch of rain there were lots of traffic accidents reported. I only heard of one microburst that did major wind damage in our area.
I still haven't seen any hummingbirds but if they tried to get to the feeder, they would get seasick, swinging in the wind. It is still blowing like crazy here. Today is only in the 60's and it is not as humid as it has been lately though.
But before we know it, all our time will be spent outside playing with plants and lots of yard work. So don't forget to take time to smell the roses. Thanks for being my friend!
