Good Morning Friends! May troubles be less, and blessings be more. May nothing but happiness come to your door. May you have luck wherever you go; your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow. May wind be at your back and sunshine overhead. Have a Blessed Sunday!
Hi there. I have figured what is wrong. You haven't accepted my friend request. That is why I don't see you on my friends list. Have a nice time at your meal and have a good evening my friend, Cheryl
Hi there. I look forward to getting to know you. I couldn't find your picture on my friends list. I hope you didn't already delete me. I wish you a nice afternoon and a wonderful weekend. Take care, Cheryl
Winter just won't give up! Wednesday evening there were lots of Robins in the yard. Today we will not get above freezing for 24 hours or more. And the on and off rain along with the 20 mph winds with gusts to over 40 mph make it very miserable out there.
I might get started today turning the clocks forward as I have about 20 to change. Thank goodness others automatically change.
So it is a perfect day for Chicken & Dumplings! 5.5 lbs of chicken cooked with garlic, pepper, ginger and tumeric and ready for soups, parsley, carrots and chopped up chicken put in to simmer before the biscuits are put on top. What are you having today? Come on over soon or tomorrow for leftovers as it is better each day.
good morning Wendy, popping in to say hello before I leave for my eye appt. Last post up check and I'm glad because the copays have hit me hard. Has it been raining still up your way? Today was our third day of rain but at least it's washed away a ton of pollen. The grass is popping up and getting thick and the flowers are popping up too. Tomorrow night the cold will return for us but shouldn't last too long I imagine. I hope not because I had gotten used to leaving all my plants out. Do you have plans with friend this weekend? I'm meeting the girls for lunch today after my appt. Looking forward to it too because I've been stuck home all week, determined not to waste my gas now that it's 4+ dollars a gallon. Hope your weekend is good! Lotsa hugs, Beth
The Okapi, also known as Forest Giraffe, Congolese Giraffe or Zebra Giraffe, is not related to Zebra. The Okapi and Giraffe are the only living members of the family Giraffidae. They are about 4.9' tall, weigh 440 to 770 lb, and about 8.2' long. It can be found at the Fort Worth zoo and is from the deepest parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo rainforests.
So many people on my prayer list right now... friends and family and friends that are like family. So please today share your blessings with others.
I know our high Friday will only be around 40 but the birds are all thinking it is Spring. Robins, cardinals, sparrows and so many more are everywhere in yards and on feeders... waiting for Hummingbirds to return.
Hope that puts a smile on your face and you will continue to share it with others.
Hello Pal, what have you been up to? We are having storm blow throughs today and are under tornado watches most of the day. We are really needing the rain though. It's been so dry. My dogs and my cat are scared of thunder so hope we don't get too much of that. Has it warmed up any for you? We have more cold coming after this rain, right as we were getting used to the warm temps. lol. Gas is up over $4 a gallon now, so I'll mostly be staying home. It's crazy how fast it went up. I guess we can thank Putin for that. Meant to tell you my air fryer caught on fire recently! It wasn't even the part where the food goes but it was the bottom of it in the wiring. Thankfully hubby was home and helped me move it outside very quickly. (it's heavy too) Now I'll be getting a new one when I find the kind I like. Hope your day is good and you are staying safe. hugs from stormy FL, Beth
Late yesterday, the girl texted me that her doctor appointment got changed and I didn't have to work for her today. Well, thank goodness. 37° and sleet. I-30 was not moving either.
We decided mid morning that we would go get groceries. As we were ready to walk into the garage, the biggest BOOM of thunder shook the windows. It was very fast moving and so off we went in a very light sleet (not cold enough to stick). Can you believe for the first time in years we got everything on our list. Now, it cost us a pretty penny but the shelves were full.
Thanks for the Anniversary wishes! We have just had the best time together this past week... Well, OK most days for the past 42 years. He makes me laugh every day! We are truely
Please share your smile and choose to be happy and content with where God has placed you today.
Yesterday turned cloudy and windy. We covered plants and moved others in the garage. I took this picture this morning to cheer everyone up today.
Then I ventured outside into the cold just long enough to get this dreary wintery picture and thought next week we will be on DayLight Savings time. Woo Hoo! It will only be 5 am instead of 6 am. As I was coming back in, I looked at the calendar... 42 years today we have been married. We both forgot. Glad I remembered before friends started reminding us.
So now it is after noon and I still don't have any groceries marked off my list. Even worse, I had a call this morning and agreed to work tomorrow at a different office in Rockwall. What? got into me? Since the weather is cold and damp (drizzle not reaching the ground), Hubby talked me into waiting until Wednesday when the temperatures will be warmer. Ok, he twisted my arm.
Maybe the wind won't be as bad by then either. So now I am off to find lunch in our kitchen... by chance did you leave something there? Well, I am sending Blessings and Hugs to you no matter.
