Surprise! I didn't get everything done on my list... yet. Thursday, I never got dressed... that's right! But I got laundry done and my nails changed.
Guess what color? OK, it is an orange shade with glitter. Anyway, on Friday my hubby had an appointment with our Neuromusculoskeletal Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy doctor (mine was for next Thursday) but they had a cancellation and she saw me right after his appointment (we both go in together anyway). By the time we picked up our bulbs for our makeshift greenhouse from the wholesale distributor and back to Rockwall it was past lunch time so we ate at the Cotton Patch. Next we were 6th in line of all 8 lines for gasoline at Costco. Then we had 5 things on our Costco list and came out with 10 things. By then we were tired and sore from the doctor so we went home. Since we don't go to town on weekends unless something major happens, we will finish our list next week. However, rain and cooler weather is heading our way again but it shouldn't look like this...
I hope! hehehe We both are feeling much better after Dr. Carey manipulated our entire body. We are both walking better, standing straighter and hurting much less. So... are you ready for a race? I win!
Hello Pal, hope your weekend has been good so far. No big plans here, just enjoying the Spring weather. The girls came for lunch yesterday and we were able to sit outside at the patio table and eat. The bees were buzzing everywhere. I planted 2 more packs of flower seeds. One was a butterfly garden mix and one was called Grandmother's garden. We are needing rain and they say it's coming next eek. I hope so. Hubby is doing chores outside and getting his boat ready to take fishing soon. Is it warmer up your way too? I have the doors and windows opened to air out the house. Sure helps with the pet odors. Do you have plans with friends tonight? I'm going to town in a bit and we'll see what the gas prices are up to now. Pretty soon we may all be staying home whether we want to or now. Have a happy weekend!
Things are budding and blooming around here and of course with that the pollen is high. It's so beautiful to look out and see everything. I hope you have a good day and a wonderful weekend!
All the cold and dreary days you have been the sunshine in my life. Thanks!
So now I am sharing our sunshine with you as we will be in the mid to upper 70's today. Again, thanks for sharing your cold, icy, winter weather with us.
Don't forget to share your smile. Now I have to get dressed, get my long grocery list filled, wash baskets of clothes, wash my car, do my nails, and so on and so on. What are you doing the next few days (as it will take me that long to get all that done - beginning with getting dressed)???
“Thank God for everything good that has happened during the day and wish everyone else a good night. Afterward, take a deep breath and sleep tight peaceful sleep
Hello Wendy, hope you slept better last night. Hubby had to work late and I got a kind of late start on supper but anyway made him a shepards pie since that's his fav and he had a very long day. Yesterday I was out and about picking up a few groceries and got a solar sunflower for the yard. Its so pretty. Lately I've been into solar lights. lol. I guess I need to stop buying them as I have plenty. I have to leave soon to take my little boy dog back to the groomer. He wants to roll in everything dirty he can find so I will just keep him cut short to make it easier to keep him clean. On Monday I finally got the taxes done. I hate doing them and I'm glad it's over with. Hope you have warmed up a little. We are very pleasant her and the robins are out pecking the ground. Happy Wednesday. lots of hugs, Beth
