But when it comes to trimming trees and cutting the branches up into smaller pieces, it takes teamwork. I am the most BLESSED girl around with my Hubby and soon enough (about another 3 weeks or more) he will be out of that "boot", I hope.

Hello Wendy, yes a nice quiet Groundhog day here. I had a post op check at the opthamologist then ran errands. Woke up to a rainy day here. Think it will get cooler and clear up by tomorrow. I've been streaming true crime documentaries on Netflix lately. I think the name of it is Making a Murderer. Pretty interesting case of how law enforcement framed a guy for a crime he didn't commit. That probably goes on more than we can imagine in America. What have you been up to today? I think there's another storm system on the way for the mid west again. 4th weekend in a row of such weather. Have a good weekend!

The Bald Cypress tree in our front yard is completely iced over. We did not get any snow, just sleet and ice.
This is the beautiful Vitex tree in the backyard. It is also called a Chaste Tree and has beautiful purple flowers like a lavender plant.
Yes we have lost some limbs already and are supposed to have high winds tomorrow which means we will probably lose more.

Yep, I got the big black glasses after surgery and guess I'll get more done next week when I get the second eye done. I'm seeing much better already. Will update my readers once the other eye is done. Hoping I can get by with drugstore readers and not need the expensive prescription glasses. Didn't have to cook afterwards, had leftover Pot roast and veggies. Chicken noodle soup sounds so good and it's something I'll eat frequently during the Winter. We are warming up some today and regarless of what Phil says, Spring is just around the corner. Have good Wednesday!
