Another busy day around here. We just got back from the eye glass doctor. She changed his prescription from when he saw her 6 weeks ago. His Glaucoma doctor recommended this Pediatric Ophthalmologist because of the prism in his glasses and his slanted, double vision. Then she recommended this Optical place because they have a lab on-site and are good with prisms in glasses. So for the last 6 weeks he hasn't had glasses that work for him. We have hope again now.
It is so humid outside that it is hard to catch your breath. Yesterday scattered showers left us with 4/10" rain and because of clouds around the temperatures aren't too high, just humid.
I think I forgot to tell you my Longhorns lost Saturday night. Tonight we will watch the final college baseball game to see who the winner is for this year.
I feel like I have missed a week with visiting friends in Lubbock and running errands since we got back. Thanks again for keeping me posted on your life and for sharing your smile with others. I'll check on you again soon!
Brewing up some chocolate raspberry flavored coffee on this precious Wed. Another glorious day in our area.
The household duties may be post poned off and on during this day for I am going to enjoy the out of doors. May you also enjoy your day what ever it is bring to you. The lazy days of summer! Smiles Gloria
Our 4 dogs were very glad we came back home from our trip. Hubby checked on them a bunch while we were gone on our cams.
Today I went to pick up the Edward Jones ladies. Tisha will be 35 tomorrow and we took her to lunch today at Salt Grass.
Then I had to stop at Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby before my car would come home. I don't really have any room on the fence but aren't they pretty!
And I'm hoping that Hubby can find a way to drill a hole in the top of this beautiful blue fish (there is already a hole in the bottom) so I can use it to make a hummingbird bird bath. Do you have any suggestions on how to drill a hole in ceramic?
So now I need to pay a few bills for the first of the month. Can you believe June is almost over?
Such a glorious morning. Enjoying a cup of carmel vanilla cream flavored coffee from green mountain on this pleasant summer day. The month of June just flew by and looking forward to July. May your day be a pleasant one and your moments be ever so kind to you. Smiles Gloria

How are you? I hope life smiles at you today ... Here I send you this sensational flower, which I hope you like. Happy Tuesday!!! Many kisses and a big hug.
Thank you you're so sweet and such kind words. Even though they gave me the the gas and stuff for pain it was still horrific pain. I do feel better now with lot's of prayers and God having his hands on me because I bleed badly. I hope you've had a good day my friend and have a good night. hug

OUCH!!! So sorry to hear about all the problems in your mouth - ugh - just the thought makes me shiver!! I sure hope you are feeling better and can eat something more than just soup and jello. Have a good and easy rest of the week!! Hugs good nite. Wendy
Julie and I have been best friends for over 45 years and the four of us, best friends, for about 40. Needless to say, a fun time was had by all!
They love to cook and we all love to eat. Went out to a really great Mexican Food restaurant too. Even came home with frozen food from their freezer.
They work in their yard even more than we do and it is just beautiful. Pink the standard poodle is the best behaved dog in the world. She loves posing for pictures.
They have about 60 koi fish in the pond their kids built for them. It was their second pond built as the first one at their other house was much smaller.
Well, I must get back to putting stuff away and cleaning up around here. I just want you to know how much I have enjoyed reading all the comments while we were gone.
Sorry for lack of comments, last week I had dental work done along with oral surgery that left me with 5 stitches! I'm just starting to feel like myself again. I hope you have a great day and week ahead!
As I look at my children while they sleep, I know in my heart they are only here because God let me borrow them until he decides to bring them back home to him. All children are gifts from God, they should be cherished as just that...
Have a beautiful day and enjoy god's treasures he gives up
I have lost track of time. I think it was Sunday when we mowed the yard and we got the 3' tall area where the standing water finally dried up. Then on Monday we trimmed the 2 Vitex trees and had 3 BIG wheelbarrow loads of limbs that we dumped in the carport to cut up later.
We also cut about 10 big limbs off a tree in the front side and left them there because a cool front was due to blow in.
It was an extremely hot humid day and we were tired and sore too. So today we got the limbs cut up as we had to bundle our bulk in 3x3x3' with twine and call to have it picked up on our trash day. We don't have bulk pick up, per say, as they send another truck for that and we are limited to only 4 bundles. We have 10 bundles today.
As the cool front came through, we had a BIG gust of wind that blew the big gate Hubby made years ago inside out.
It busted out the wood that part of the latch was attached to and we had to repair that. It also blew over one of my 4 cement birdbaths. Just knocked the top upside down on the ground. Friends lost roof shingles, we haven't even checked that yet. Now, for the College World Baseball Series update. Sunday evening my Longhorns lost. Today they won. So we will play again on Thursday evening.
Oh Wendy, I had to turn the sprinkler on today!
And just in case I haven't shared enough pictures yet, I'll leave you with one more. My yard at night!
