May you have a peaceful day and a pleasant weekend that is coming up. Smiles Gloria
"A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give." Author Unknown
Good Morning Wendy, glad the recipe turned out good for you. At least you had it all done when your company arrived. The crunchy onions on top sounds like a good idea to me! I know you can also buy the reduced sodium soup. I think Campbell's calls it healthy request. my hubby mentioned it needed a topping so I'll keep the fried onions in mind for next time. Had a good visit with the girls yesterday and got some cute pics. They have 4 new kittens that are just adorable. Almost a month old now. They have rabbits and chickens too. I slept in this morning. Almost 9 o'clock! I better get moving and hang out the quilt I washed while we have sunshine. It's hit or miss lately with the showers. Hope your weekend is lovely and I'll send any quick recipes I have your way. lots of hugs, Beth
good morning, sun is in and out here today but more rain on the way for us I hear, not to mention the tropical storm coming up in the gulf. It will probably hit west of us but we'll get rain from it. The garden and flowers are doing well from all the rain. Hope your eye is feeling better now. My sister in law gets those too and they sound rough. Hope the casserole recipe turns out good for you. I thought about adding bread crumbs to the top but it was salty enough as it it was and that would have added more to it. Hope your day is good and I'll catch up with you soon. lots of hugs, Beth
good morning Wendy,im sorry about your injections...i hope that you can see better today...may your day be blessed my dear friend
Hi Rider - a beautiful 82 degrees today - but was mostly inside or should I say I went to get an injections in my eye - had a full exam that took 2 hrs. Always knocks me for a loop and I need to lay down for a couple hours after I get home. Can't open my eye for hours after that and then it's still hard to see out of it, not to mention pain. But it'll be better tomorrow and gone the day after that except for the looks. Have a wonderful nite and say hello to your wife! Take care and sweet dreams. Hugs, Wendy
Hi Wendy, a new month is here and just like that 2020 is almost half over. We had a warm weekend. Ran errands on Fri. and Sat. and actually was able to eat INSIDE a restaurant. First time since the lock down. Hubby spent most of the day yesterday mowing the yard and weed eating. Sure looks better too. I went to church and came home and cooked a Boston butt in the oven. Haven't made one in ages and it turned out well. We had no rin yesterday. Yippee! First dry day in probably 10 days or more. I stopped and got okra yesterday as ours in the garden isn't producing much yet. We've had more peppers than anything. Hope your day is happy and the first week of June is good to you! lots of hugs, Beth

Dance the night away with your honey - hope she is feeling better and able to get on the puter. Haven't heard from her in a while - tell her I said hi!! Hugs, Wendy
