Good Morning Wendy, we've had rain for days too. I finally made a grocery run yesterday though and the sun was out when I left but by the time I was finished it was pouring and I got soaked through and through. Came home with dripping wet bags of supplies and what a mess! Anyway, that was my day! Sorry your meatballs werent' good. I bought some pre-made porkballs at Walmart recently. Just cooked them in the oven, they weren't bad but were pretty salty. Made a spinach frittata last night. It was quick and easy. I added sausage to it too. I sure hope the sun will stay out today so the space launch can take place. Enjoy your visit with friends tomorrow and stay dry! lots of hugs, Beth
Good Morning, what have you been up to, Wendy? I'm working up the ambition to run errands in a bit before the day gets away from me. We've had a soggy week and the sun peeking out now is a welcome sight even though it's steamy out there. Did some weeding in the garden late Wed and bathed the dogs yesterday bending over and threw out my back. Finally just got on the heating pad and it's much better today. Hey friend, no big plans today. Hubby wants to go get some new shoes in a bit so will probably ride with him. He's been mowing and weed eating for a long time out in the heat. I just finished using the blueberries, made another doobie (cobbler) We did our BBQ yesterday, St. Louis style ribs and all the fixings. Sure was good and have plenty of leftovers. I hope your day is good and you enjoy the visit with your friends. Let me know what you cooked. lol.

good afternoon Wendy, what have you been up to? It's so hot here aleady and Summer is here even if the calendar doesn't agree. haha. Folks are headed to the beach too. I can tell from the steady stream of traffic. The road I live on is a straight shot to the coat. Nothing special going on here. Hubby is cutting grass and I've been doing laundry and catching up on my Hill visits. Looking foward to returning to church tomorrow. Went back to the blueberry patch yesterday and boy are they thick now! Got a bucket full in less than an hour. Need to get busy and make something with them as they don't freeze real well. Ventured out to the grocery yesterday and got stuff to grill this weekend. Everyone was out and about. I guess folks are tired of being cooped up. I know I am! Hope your weekend is happy.
