Good evening to you . Such a glorious day I had planting glads and dahlia's . The lawn even got its first hair cut.
Now for the next several days rain will be coming down which wll be nice to hear the pitter patter of the rain drops. I am looking for the rainy weather so I will stay indoors instead in the back yard most of the day and getting very little done in the home. We are to be in the 70's for the daytime and over night temps in the 50's . My my how I am enjoying these spring days. May you have a pleasant day tomorrow .

Hey there, we are getting rain too and glad of it. The garden is starting to make so it needs the rain. We got a good picking of squash yesterday and I cooked them last night. So good! My dog takes Apoquel too and it helps him quite well. He has allergies. I don't know how big your dog is but the vet gives him the quarter tabs (cuts them in quarters or halves depending on what your dog's size is, etc.) and I can usually make them last about 6 weeks. Ran errands yesterday and so today I'll stay home while it rains and get some chores done or just be lazy (I'm leaning toward that, lol) Hope your day is good and you are dry and cozy. A very nice evening to you. My what glorious day I have been having up north. I am not getting much done inside the home for I am enjoying the out of doors most of the day watching the flowers coming up out of the flowerbeds and planting glads that will come up later this summer. The tulips are out right now around the yard which bring smiles to my face as I see their beautiful colors of yellow, red and pink.

Hi Wendy, happy new week. We got a good little rain last night and more expected today. Hope we get some too. Sounds like you had a nice time with your company. We're all tired of staying home and isolated, huh? The roads are busier now with traffic as the restrictions have been eased and salons reopening etc. Still have to wear a face masks in stores here though. All of us have had haircuts now. Yaayy. Had a quiet weekend here. Hubby fixed his old truck and replaced the fuel pump. Had to order the part from Ebay. When vehicles get old it sure is hard to find the parts you need. I'm going to make some pumpkin bread in a bit and jazz it up with raisins and nuts. Hope your day is good and you get rain if you need it! hugs from steamy FL, Beth
Hi Wendy, what have you been up to? It's hot and humid here and Summer is here whether I was ready or not. We need rain still and got a brief shower last night after dark. Didn't amount to much but my plants and flowers got a little drink anyway.I'm looking for a quick bread recipe to make in my bread machine. Remember those? Haha. No one uses them much anymore but mine still works. The store has been out of yeast for week now. Everyone making their own bread while they are stuck at home. I havent' been doing that but made plenty of other stuff. Going to make some muffins this week if I have enough blueberries left. My church began having services again last week but I haven't started back yet. Probably will soon though as Imiss it so much. Nothing much going on here. Been outside repotting my morning glory plant. Going to put a roast in the oven soon for supper. Have a happy Sunday whatever you're up to!
