What a wonderful afternoon to enjoy the out of doors in ones back yard in our area. Infact I just did that for most of the morning breathing the fresh air of spring and and listening the birds singing. Hi Wendy, storms blew through again last night. A tornado was spotted on the road I live on which was scary. We got another inch and a half of rain. Glad your painting got done. I bet it looks good. Hopefully you can find some more drapes to match it well. Need to get to Lowes myself when I can for some more home improvement items. We are wanting to redo the floor in the kitchen and dining room. Oh, the cast iron sink is being used for washing the veggies and washing hands. It's near the new garden spot. It can also be used for cleaning fish and that kind of thing. Will send you a pic on messenger. Yesterday our governor gave a very long report on the status of re-opening things in Florida. Mostly things will stay like they are for now. The restaurants with outdoor seating can serve people outside and 25 percent capacity inside. Anyway..the thing I was most concerned about is hair salons and they can't reopen yet. I am looking like a witch I tell you. Doing the best I can with hair clips to keep it out of my face. It's sunny and cool here and I decided to wash sheets so to take advantage of hanging them out in this perfect weather. Still have to figure out some supper too! Good Morning Wendy, sounds like you had a good weekend with good food. My son smoked a pork tenderloin on Sat. as well. They are always so good and he didn't even marinate it this time. He usually does. We have more rain on the way but we still need it, believe it or not. We've had lovely cool weather since the weekend and I'm not ready to say goodbye to Spring. Summer comes early here and stays late. Nothing new going on. I made another tee shirt mask to use. I cut up a white tee shirt and wash the masks with bleach after each use. Have you been working in your garden? I've been out cleaning up small branches each day. The storms keep making a mess of my pretty yard. lol. Hubby finished up his sink and counter project he was building outside last weekend. It will be used for the garden or whatever we need it for. It's an old-timey cast iron sink. I helped him lift it and man it's heavy. Nothing new going on, just sticking my head in the door to say Hello and hope you're well. Enjoy your day!

Hey there, been another quiet week at my house except for the storms we had on Thurs. Our local meteorologists were broadcasting for 9 straight hours with so many bulletins and updates. We never lost power thankfully. Had some lightening and gusty winds that blew huge branches down across my drive way. What have you been up to? Hope you've had good weather for working in the garden. Last night I realized our small Lemon tree has baby Lemons on it! I was pretty excited. lol. My son just set it out the first of March. It will take it years to get big but meanwhile if makes even a few lemons I'll be happy. The Chicken Salad Chick restaurant that's 30 miles east of me has started doing delivery to small communites once a week during this pandemic. Ordered from them yesterday and the food was so good. I've honestly had enough of my own cooking. haha. Hubby is outside working on something, his truck I think and after that will have to clean up the branches in my yard that the storm left behind. There is a huge one hanging periously over my drive way still. It broke off but caught up in the fork of the tree. So excited for the lilac bushes are starting to do some budding and the tulips are coming out of the ground gradually.Puts a smile to my face watching the robins walk around the yard. Had a good day - went to a couple of farm markets and gassed up the car. Only picked up a few things. It was cloudy overcast today but no rain. All in all, it was a good day. Got an invite to a friend's house for dinner tomorrow nite - always nice to 'eat out' these days. Have a good nite and a wonderful upcoming weekend. Good nite, Wendy
