Hi Wendy, there are lines to get in all of our stores now as they are only allowing so many people in at one time. If they exceed the limit they can be closed down. Our hardware stores in town are closed too. Non-essential! We are not made to wear masks but if I have to go out I do wear one. I think people should have been wearing them all along but there was so much the doctors didn't seem to know at the begining. We had a very quiet Easter at home. I guess most people did. I cooked a traditional Easter dinner with ham and the sides we love. Lots of leftovers today. Hope your Easter was good. Did you cook? We had a very warm wind blow the whole day yesterday and storms blew through about 5 this morning. They dropped some rain that we needed fortunately. The sun is out now and it's very warm. Enjoy your day, friend. Talk to you soon! Lots of hugs, Beth
Sounds like your shopping experience is like ours, Wendy. I haven't been out but I'm told some waited 7 hrs to get in to a grocery store - letting five in at a time and long lines waiting. :(
Good Morning Wendy, thank you always...May your day be Blessed and Bright...Happy Easter Sunday my dear friend...thank you for everything, your a wonderful person, may you and your family always be blessed...stay safe and take care
Hi Pal, so glad you like the House Mouse pic, I have a site where I grab stuff from and they always have House Mouse. Yes, you told me about working out in the garden. Quite a workout, isn't it? Hubby has been out puttering around in ours as well and running the sprinkler almost daily as we are still dry. He got off early today too. I know the stores being so picked over is frustrating. I have been putting together some very interesting meals with what I have in my cupboard. haha. Threw together a pasta salad yesterday with what I found, some seashell pasta, canned chicken breast and green peas and ranch dressing. It was actually pretty decent. Sorry to hear the girl didn't show up to help paint. She must not need the money too bad, huh? She sounds like the people who put up my chainlink fence. They kept putting me off for the start date. It's so aggravating. Do you have any plans for Easter? I guess most of us will have a quiet one. I have a boneless Kentucky Legend smoked Ham and will figure out some sides to go with it. Maybe potato salad and something else. Hope your Good Friday has been a good one and you are not too sore from all that weeding. Catch up with you soon. big bunny hugs, Beth
