I Pray you are taking care of yourself and your loved ones the best you can. I am doing just fine and actually am thinking of putting out a puzzle,like a spring time scene. It did snow over night so looking white and bright everywhere. It would be treat to have the sun shining off the snow making it glistening. Things are pretty quite around town and some of the stores are having the opening hour or two of stores open up for the elderly only which is nice and kind of them. Just made up some soup for the day so I am all set. Coffee brewed,soup ready to eat anytime, books by my chair to read the next chapters and a puzzle to lay out on the table to enjoy during the day. Hi Pal, everything is closing here too. The schools are all closed for 2 weeks or more. No documented cases in my area yet either. I've been ordering pet supplies online but will need more fresh meat and things like Milk soon. Hubby is still out working anyway so thankful for that as we need that income. Hopefully the Starbucks where your granddughter works will stay open. I know they do a booming business. My son works at Amazon and instead of cutting back they are requiring them to work overtime to meet the demand of housebound folks shopping online. Hope your day is good.
Hi Wendy, oh my, your stores sound worse than ours even. i should have went Fri. but it was the 13th and I opted to stay home. haha. My Walmart had plenty of food, even dairy stuff and meat but the shelves in the paper products and cleaning section were bare. I got some kleenex and flushable baby wipes (not a bad idea in a pinch) I still have a cough too, it just won't go away. I guess the folks at church yesterday thought I had THE virus. lol. Your beef stew sure sounds good. I did pot roast with veggies in the oven so guess we were thinking alike. We missed our annual St. Pat's/Irish festival this weekend. So many events cancelled because of the pandemic. Guess I better get up and start the whites in the washer. Hope your day is good. Stay safe. lots of St. Patrick's day hugs, Beth
