Hey Wendy, how was your weekend? Did you have some good meals out? Hubby and I went to Longhorn yesterday for our early annvi. celebration. Today makes 40 years. Good gracious I don't even feel that old! Haha. Anyway our food was so good and had enough leftover for supper last night too. We did a little shopping/mostly looking at Kohl's and Target. Both places were crazy busy and crowded. That's the best way to get hubby out of there. haha. We are gray and gloomy here with rain chances increasing each day. We do need the rain. I wanted to tell you I found the clear glass lids for the instant pot at Target yesterday but they are cheaper on Amazon. I want one to use for storage on my pot (like leftover soup or chili) and also can use it with the slow cooker feature which works well, by the way. I used it recently for chicken. The lids for the 6 quart pot are supposed to fit the 5 quart as well. I need to get one for my daughter in law too. Enjoy the new week and may it be full of blessings for all of us! Loveya, Beth

Hey Wendy, what are you up to? Has it been cold up your way? We've been very chilly. I got most of my lights strung out front over the weekend and finished up Monday with the help of hubby. You can't beleive all the extension cords out there! It's like the Griswolds. haha. I have 2 deer, 2 small trees and lights on the fence and front porch. Nothing much going on here. Got some laundry out to dry while the weather is nice and more blankets on to wash. Are you getting for Christmas? I still don't have my tree up. Happy Wednesday. Hope your day is being nice to you as it is for me today for the sun is out and shinning on the snow. This snow is not snowman snow but Angel snow light and fluffy. A good day to make up some homemade soup. Abit chill at 21 F. but no wind so that is nice if I am going to run afew errands later on today. May you have a glorious day doing this and that. Good Morning Wendy, hope your holiday was lovely. Did your pies turn out good? Ours was so nice with perfect Fall weather. It was plesant enough with a cool breeze that we were able to sit outside with our feast. My son got called into work on thurs. so they came yesterday for a late celebration. Of course we had tons of food left over. So much dressing left right now that I need to freeze it. Did you do any black Friday shopping? I did not participate at all this year.
