Hi Wendy, yes it's quite a bit warmer here. Your highs sound like our lows. Another cold snap on the way tomorrow. Yippee! The cranberry bog is so pretty. It reminds me of the mayhaws down here. They grow near water and consequently you have to wade out in the water to collect them. Mama made mayhaw jelly every year when I was a child. They ripen in..you guessed it....May. Did I send you the pumpkin pie cookie bite recipe? Lisa shared it from Pinterest and it is so good and so easy. I'm going to a craft fair in S. Good Morning Wendy, November came in with a bang here. A cold front blew in Halloween night. It was windy and cold. It feels good though. We don't really get trick or treaters here in the country but my little ones came. Lily was Sally from the Nightmare before Christmas and Katelyn was a Ninja. They were so cute and loaded up on the chocolate Nana had for them. Yesterday we went to lunch at Panera and did a little shopping. We were going to sit outside to eat but it was actually too chilly. I've been sprucing up for Fall. Got some new throw rugs and taking out my Thanksgiving knick knacks too. Hope your weekend is nice and relaxing and that you are getting some of these nice Fall temps too. lots of hugs, Beth
Pleasant day to you. My goodness tomorrow we start the month of November. Such a very special month full of birthdays plus Thanksgiving at Grammies. The sun is shinning today which warms ones heart. Enjoying some French Vanilla & Almond flavored coffee from Cameron's at the moment.
Library has some books in for me that I order awhile back so will visit our friendly library this afternoon.

Hi Wendy, glad you got your phone back. I would be freaking out if I lost mine. Good thing they put it up for you at the restaurant. We used to have a Smokey Bones nearby but I think they closed it. I've never had broccoli rabe before that I know of. I love me some broccoli though. Hubby probably thinks that's all I cook because I crave it. Last night I made a big pot of taco beef soup. Now waiting on some soup weather. Your 70s for temps sounds wonderful. We are warm and cloudy here and had lots of rain yesterday. Supposed to be cooler by late tomorrow hopefully in time for the trick or treaters to enjoy it. Otherwise they may be hot in their heavy costumes. I remember going as a child and it would actually be cold. We'd wear coats over our costumes though. Are you stocked up on chocolate? We don't get trick or treaters here unless the grandchildren come. I have Butterfingers and Kit-kats for them. They will have more than enough goodies as they go to a large residential section on Halloween that has a haunted house, etc. We've been watching scary movies lately since they are on so much near Halloween.
