Hey Wendy, I'm in North FL near the Georgia line. We are currently not expecting the storm to hit here but will probably get rain from it at least. They still don't really know where it's going of course but it has slowed down so who knows when it will make landfall. At any rate we are prepared and have everything we need. Had a busy day out and about with the girls. Just got home about 7 pm. The crowds were crazy everywhere we went today. Enjoy your weekend. Love, Beth

We are still soggy here too. I know you've probably had enough of the rain by now. Sure hoping that TS or Huricane Dorian stays away from my part of the world. Glad you are getting used to your air fyer. You should definitely try some chicken wings or drummettes in it. (the small drumsticks) That's been my favorite so far. Hubby told me to reduce the cooking time so I did and they are crispier. Recipe said to fry for 30 minutes but usually 20 or 25 min on high is enough. Last weekend I made a Hershey no bake pie that Lisa sent me the recipe for. Man it was so good but not something I can indulge in often. Yesterday was tutor lessons then ran some errands and I got caught out in a monsoon. I had 3 umbrellas in the back seat but none in the store with me. haha. Serves me right I guess. Do you have plans for the holiday weekend? None here really, I try to stay off the road as much as possible on holidays. So many accidents on those days it seems. Hi Wendy, I would sure send you some rain if I could. Let me tell you we have been soggy! There are mushrooms sprouting up everywhere from all the moisture. A town nearby had flooding recently in some of the low lying areas. There was still standing water recently when i passed that area. I saw a joke yesterday on FB that said Will whoever has been praying for rain please pray for my bank account? haha. At least the rain and clouds have kept our temps down and for that I am thankful. Yesterday I did a tutor session and ran errands then visited my sister briefly. It was good to see her. Sure hope your day is good. Soggy hugs from the not-so-sunshiney-state, Beth

Morning Wendy, hope your weekend was good. Sounds like you had some good food. We did too. My son made some shrimp po boys Sat. night and I made steak fries using russet potatoes and cooked them in my air fryer. We are so soggy here. Rain on top of rain for 4 days now. Honestly it can stop anytime now. Boy it sounds like there was plenty of drama with the couple who got suspended. Maybe they'll take a hint and not ever come back. Tomorrow I'll be out and about doing errands tomorrow and plus I have my tutor lessons.Better get some chores done today I guess. I'd rather watch Netflix. lol. Hubby got the Levelor blinds hung over the weekend. They sure look nice. Still need some drapes or curtains to go with them as they are kind of dark. Hope your day is good. love n hugs to you, Beth

Hi Wendy, I found the Shepherd's Pie recipe you mentioned online. Sure sounds good and I haven't made one in a long time either. What have you been up to? I'm just chilling and watching Trisha Yearwood's cooking show. All the best shows seem to come on on the weekend on Food Network. Yesterday the girls and I got lunch at a Cuban restaurant and did a little birthday shopping for Katelyn. She'll be 7 next weekend. If you want to have fun take a 6 year old to the toy dept. at Walmart. lol. We also went to Costco and got few things. Havent' been there in forever and might as well use my membership before it expires. My brother got the excecutive membership and got me a card as well so I didn't even have to pay for it. Hope your weekend is going well. Nothing much going on here. My little dog got something on my new quilt so I had to wash and hang it out today. Thursday night we had a humdinger of a storm that lasted 2 hours at least. My dog and cat were scared the whole time. I'll catch up with you soon. Enjoy your day.
