Hi Wendy, I think you did mention about the wind blowing the tree down. It's sad to lose pretty healthy trees to bad weather. We lost so many nice trees from the huricane last Fall. Good thing you all had help getting the tree cut up. That is a lot of hard work I know. It took my hubby and son a long time to get our yard cleared after the storm. Many people near us still have trees down. I bet your hair cut looks good. I get mine whacked off every Summer. It's just too hot here to have hair on my neck. The recipe for the chicken wings did come in the booklet that came with the fryer. I modifed it a little though since I didn't have all the ingredients. I just floured the wings and added some Italian seasoning and some paprika and onion powder to the flour first. They cooked perfectly in 25 minutes. I did flip them over half way through. I need to get over to my neighbor's blueberry patch and pick some blueberries while it's cloudy and a little cooler here. We had storms blow through during the night and it's much more tolerable out there now as far as the temps go. Yesterday was nice, my granddaughter and I did a girls day out. She got her toes done, we got lunch at Applebees then did a little back to school shopping for her. She has trouble finding the kind of jeans and leggings she wants but we did find some at Target finally. Do you have any special plans for the fourth? Good Morning Wemdy, sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. It's been so hot here too. AC working overtime to keep us cool. I have fans in almost every room as well and the pool water has been delightful. Did I tell you I used my air fryer for chicken wings and they were so good? I took my granddaughter to get her haircut Tues. She got a nice short Summer do. I got mine in May before the real heat even started. lol. Hope your day is good and you are keeping cool! Love, Beth
Hi Wendy, oh my goodness you are having hurricane winds already? The same day you had them it was very windy here too. Tree branches down in my yard here and there. Yesterday was hot and steamy as we welcomed Summer. I got in the pool to cool off and cleaned out about a hundred leaves. We had a nice girls day out and saw Toy Story 4. It was so cute and we all enjoyed it. Did a little shopping for shoes for my granddaughter after that and got lunch. Never did find the shoes she wanted so ended up ordering them off Amazon last night. My Air Fryer arrived yesterday and it is HUGE. Not sure why I thought I needed such a big one but honestly I couldn't tell from the stock photo how large it was. It's 6 quart capacity so it ought to hold plenty of food. I'll let you know how I like it later. Gonna try it out later today if I can get me some chicken wings for it. Hope your day is good and you are keeping cool! love, Beth

Hi Wendy, your FD meal sounds good. I ordered a 6 quart air fryer yesterday. The brand is called DASH and it's green of course (my fav color) It should be here tomorrow. I can't wait to try it. I see Emeril Lagasse has his own brand of air fryers now. He made chocolate souffle in one. I doubt I'll be that industrious. haha. I just want to make chicken wings in mine. Wow. 97 is HOT. We get days like that frequently here but wasn't sure if y'all go that hot up there. We had a very warm humid day here with a balmy breeze. Probably right off the gulf.
