Hi Wendy, glad you had a nice dinner with friends. Our day started off very cloudy and gray but the sun peeked out while ago. Nothing much going on here. Catching up on some laundry. Our weather has warmed up quite a bit and my guys are mowing weekly at least so it doesn't get away from them. Yesterday was a mostly quiet day for me. I felt kind of woozy all day, light-headed I mean. Not sure what was up that but feeling much better today. I'm thinking I may make a coconut pie later. The kind without a crust. It has bisquick in the filling...it settles to the bottom and makes it's own crust. Pretty neat. Talk to you soon and enjoy your day! Beth

Good Morning Wendy, how's your day been so far? We woke up to more rain this morning after a bit of a stormy night last night. It was good to get a decent rain though as we have been on the dry side. Yesterday I got a potted rosebush from Lowe's and I'm looking forward to the new blooms. It's knock-out roses which I've been wanting a long time now. My week has been kind of busy catching up on chores and running errands so a lazy day inside is not sounding bad to me. I made a lemon poke cake on Wed with Katelyn's help. She especially liked licking the bowl. Hope your weekend is good and that you are getting some good Spring weather. love, Beth
Here's some pictures of a little project of mine I just finished. I took an old bird cage painted and decorated it to make a safe haven for the little birds to keep the squirrels from eating their food.

Hi Wendy, sounds like your hubby has a busy week lined up for sure. Yaay for ladies night! We are still cool and dry here and a nice day is on tap for us. Tomorow we have rain coming in late in the day and hopefully we will actually get some this time. We are needing some. The tutoring is something I had training for at the literacy center locally. It's at my library actually. I am going to be helping adults learn to read better. Many of them may have dropped out of school or fell through the cracks because of learning disorders. I'm looking forward to starting it once they match me with a student. The girls are coming over later for lunch so gonna make some potstickers and eggrolls. Hope your day is happy. love, Beth
