A glorious Monday day to you. The sun is out and spring is in my heart. A bit chilly outside though so do not put away some of the winter gear yet. Ha Ha considering it is to snow on Tuesday . The calendars have all been changed and am ready to enjoy all of the April surprises.
I do believe I need a second cup of my flavored coffee of raspberry chocolate truffle to continue with my glorious moments of the day. Smiles Gloria
Hi Wendy, sounds you had a busy weekend with lots of good food at the VFW. Our weekend was pretty quiet. Hubby went fishing for a bit on Sat but it was so windy he didn't stay long. Yesterday was church then a quiet afternoon. The rain was on the way by then so hubby got the gutter replaced over our back steps (roofers had removed it) and I'm sure glad he did. Otherwise we get soaked going out in the rain. I have some errands to run later. Gotta pick up my dog from the groomer and pick up a Rx and have a 3:00 meeting for my tutoring at the library. Good thing we have leftovers for supper cause I sure don't wanna cook after being out and about half the day. We have a cool gray day here but the rain has mostly stopped. Have a good Monday!
She was supposed to go home Friday but they decided to keep her a little longer and run a few more test. I talked to her yesterday and she sounded good and can't wait to get back to her friends. I also mentioned the design contest Altara wants to do and she got very excited. If you'd like to have this contest please either vote on Altara's poll or send her a message. I'm posting this here because so many have written in comments about Janay and I haven't been able to answer all of them.
Hi Wendy, bet you enjoyed that steak dinner last night. Sounds so good. We had hotdogs. lol. I usually take Fri. night off from cooking if I possibly can. Hope it got warm enough for your new sandals. I have worn mine twice this week since it warmed up a little. We have had lovely cool breezes and this weather has spoiled me, I'm afraid. Rain on the way the next 2 days but I shouldn't complain since we are starting to be dry here. It's really too dry for people to burn outside but they have been doing it anyway. Still burning hurricane debris I expect. Hubby got ours all done about 2 weeks ago. I'm glad the rnew roof got completed before the April showers arrive, I can tell you that. Still loads of snow on the ground but it is gradually melting down. Warms my heart the surprises of April when you start your day and wonder now are we going to have rain or snow or the glorious sunshine this day. My how I enjoy all the four seasons. Great news about Janay, she's out of ICU and in a regular room. I talked to her for a few minutes and she sounded good considering all she's been through. Thanks to all for your prayers.
Hi Wendy, oh yes those tornado warning are scary. Glad y'all are okay. We've had rain and wind blow through the last 2 nights but didn't get too bad. Today there is a cold wind blowing but it's a beautiful day still. Nothing much going on today. Getting out a little of my Easter stuff to spruce it up around here. Time for bunnies and chicks. Tomorrow is a check up with my cardiologist so won't be online but I'll catch up with you this weekend Have a good Wednesday. love, Beth
