Hi Wendy, yes we have Tractor Supply stores here. They have lots of good items for pets. We had a nice warm weekend here. Yesterday we had to run the AC. I came home after church and did a little cleaning and cooked a big supper. I made a hash brown casserole. It turned out well, tasted just like Cracker Barrel's. I order it each time I go there. Think I should half the recipe next time though as it makes a huge amount. And now we settle down into the Daylight Savings time. It will take me a week or 2 to get in the groove. lol. Poor hubby will be dragging for a few days I bet, it's hard on working folks the most. Have a good new week, pal. love, Beth
Hi Wendy, I have a small pantry and that's where I would take cover during a tornado. I actually went outside both times we got a warning to see if I heard anything coming. I never did so I didn't panic too bad but it was scary. There were a total of 8 tornadoes in my area that night. I don't live near the AL site though...that was a separate batch of storms than we had but all from the same weather system I'm sure. I'm sorry you lost your friend a few years ago. I too had such a friend that I met online, she was very much like a mother to me. Her passing was hard for sure. Have you warmed up any? We have but it's still pretty comfortable as far as the temps go. Your food from the meeting sure sounds good. I could use someone like that to cook for me too. lol. Yesterday the girls came over for lunch and we sat outside in the shade to eat. It was so nice. We had spinach pizza with alfredo sauce and pasta salad I made. I better get up and get my hair washed. Headed to a family get together in a bit for hubby's side of the family. Haven't seen them in a long time. Have a good weekend. love, Beth
