A pleasant evening to you. So far tonight it is 31 below and will be going down to 38 below for the low over night , thank heavens there is not much of a breeze. Toasty warm in the home. These are winter days up north. Hopefully February will be warmer. Take Care, be warm and be safe. Do have a nice day tomorrow for I sure will doing this and that during my moments. Smiles Gloria.
Looks like another lazy do nothing day for me. The Winter temps hit us with it being 23 degrees this morning feeling like the single digits.. By the weekend we're supposed to have Spring like temps in the 70's. Whoo Hoo!!
Hi Wendy, it's been raining all day and it's a yucky day so just staying inside and reading my book and watching some stuff on the DVR. Yes, you would love the instant pot. They are like the old pressure cookers but much safer and easier to use. I read the book that came with mine and watched some instructional You tube videos too. It's also a slow cooker and you can saute and then pressure cook your meat, etc. and only mess up the one pot which I love. I hate washing dishes. lol. Mostly I have used it for soups, chili and vegetables but you can do all kinds of things with it. Well I guess everyone is under the big freeze this week. Hope you're keeping warm. love, Beth
we are having a winter storm here...it's so pretty..but i don't have to go anywhere...wishes to you for a happy monday...and a nice start to this last week of january...hugs
my interest is totally different then yours, so must be my age, am retired 23 yrs, spent 15 of them in Texas, cloth to the Mexican border with my husband, now keep my self busy with playing cards at the senior centre, church group and at home with friends.
Wow I am having a heat wave of 4 below at the moment this morning. Plus the sun is glistening on the snow . What a breathtaking site to see. May you have a glorious weekend. Smiles Gloria
Hi Wendy, well i had begun leaving you a comment and somehow managed to delete it. Your potato soup sounds so good. I made some recently in my instant pot and it sure was quicker than using my crock pot. Yesterday was busy for me. Had a mammogram early then lunch at Panera's and shopping with the girls. We enjoyed our day together. It's warming up some here after a very chilly week. Hope your weekend is good. I need to get busy and find something to cook around here. love, Beth
