Hello Pal, hope you are home from the procedure by now and able to eat all you want. Bet you'll be glad for some decent coffee but mostly for a meal. We got some decent rain during the night, more than 2 inches, along with some storms and windy. My yard is kinda messy right now from small debris but not too bad. I have a little tree outside with my jack o lanterns hanging in it and some of them are on the ground. Supposed to clear up by tomorrow and should be nice, though on the warm side (86 degrees) for the festival on Saturday. Yesterday was busy with errands, got lots of groceries or it seems like a lot but it never lasts as long as it should, huh? I made some country style ribs for supper, turned out good this time. Sometimes they tend to be dry but these weren't. I better get my lazy self up and do some chores. Talk to you soon. lotsa hugs, Beth
Thursday was supposed to be a warm, near 90°, day for us but because of all the clouds yesterday and today, we will only be about 81°. However the promises of an even cooler weekend are in sight.
What is your story? I hope you are enjoying your story and that you are right where you want to be in it.
Your happy life should include love and showing lots of love toward lots of different people.
So for today, let's just sit back and enjoy the view and my favorite colors make this view perfect. Praying for you today Wendy! Love you!
Hi there my friend. Its already been a busy morning here. I got up at 8 this morning and got around and started packing for our trip as we are leaving sometime this afternoon. You sure do have to pack a lot of things for 5 days. This eclispe we are going to see is called the Ring of Fire. And the best place to see it is at Corpus Christi. I'm looking forward to the trip as its places I have never been to. So I will be taking lots of pictures. I don't know if I will get any of the eclispe but I will try. We have special glasses to wear during the eclispe. Not much else going on. Just waiting for the clothes to get done in the dryer so I can fold them and put them away. Well take care my friend and enjoy your day and the weekend. Hugs, Cheryl
Good morning, Wendy. We did get some of that rain they said wouldn't make it up here. It sprinkled nearly all night... good soaking "manna":) Hope you get some, too, if you need it. Happy Thursday!
Good afternoon to you. Its a warm 87* here today. To warm for me. But by this weekend it will be back in the 60's here. But we won't be here as we are going to Corpus Christi Texas. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon and going have way. Then going to stop and get a motel room for the night and get up Friday morning and head the rest of the way there. We won't be back until Tuesday afternoon sometime. I will take pictures. We are mainly going there for the eclispe that is happening Saturday morning. Have you heard about it? Well I had better go, I have already had a busy day. Take care my friend and have a lovely rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
forgot to say yes, I know how my dog's infection started. She had it in her paw first and kept rubbing her paw with her face and the infection spread to her eyes. It took 2 doctor visits and a chunk of money to get her well but she's mostly back to normal. I have an anti-fungal shampoo to bathe her with now and she's on the Apoquel as well.
Hey Pal, I'm sorry to hear of the carcinoma diagnosis. It seems like if it's that serious the doctor would have done a better job discussing it with you. That's frustrating to you, I know. It also seems like you could have eaten last night and began the prep process today. Have you been eating the jello you got? I always get jello and chicken broth when hubby or I have to have a colonoscopy. Yes, it's hard to sleep when you're hungry. Glad they could rush the procedure for you though. It's cloudy here and we have rain moving in. We really need it but these cool sunny days have spoiled me. Saturday is the Pumpkin festival nearby and hoping it cools off for that. It's more plesant to be outdoors with milder temps of course and it's mostly outside where the booths and stuff are. Hang in there, Pal. Talk to you soon. love, hugs and prayers, Beth
Hi there. Its kind of a warm afternoon here. Its 84* going to be even warmer tomorrow. Then back to the 60's on Thursday. I hope you are having a nice afternoon my friend and enjoying your day. Went shopping this morning, now I'm getting my laundry done. Take care my friend. Hugs, Cheryl
good morning Wendy, well keep me posted when you find out the CT results. Not pleurisy I guess? I know that can cause painful deep breaths. I've never had a bad expereince with Dominoes pizza like you did but lately we prefer Pizza Hut pizza. In our small town that's our choices, haha. Oh, and Hungry Howies too but I don't like them. I made chili over the weekend too and made some rice to eat it over this time. I don't usually but thought the dogs would like the rice. Their food is so expensive I've been making rice or chicken and rice, using canned chicken, about once a week to help stretch it. They are BOTH on apoquel now and as you know, it's crazy expensive too. Molly had a yeast infection that spread from her paw to he race. Never heard of such in my life. She was on anti-fungal meds by mouth and neomycin ointment in her eyes. She's much better, thankfully. Have a good Tuesday!
Welcome to Tuesday! I love flowers! It is almost time to plant Tulips and other bulbs for them to come up in the Spring.
We will take a slow drive down the dead-end road to the house and look at all the different colors.
We can get out and get an up close view of the pretty pink ones.
When you plant the bulbs you are never sure of what colors will come up. Wouldn't this be a lovely surprise?
Of course, this would be my favorite view. A field of orange, yellow and red with the beautiful orange evening clouds rolling in. Thanks for coming along with me!
