Hi there. I hope you have been having a good day. I have been busy. Went to see my son and his girlfriend this morning. Then I came home and had to go run some errands, so I'm just now getting my laundry done. Its a warm afternoon here. Its 89*, I sure enjoyed the weather last week when it was just in the 60 and 70's. Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
Steelers were who we were rooting for too. I don't care most of the time who is playing, I just love watching, and I can always find one team to root for over the other team.

Glad you had a good times with your friends, Pam. Yes, saying goodbye to those we love is always hard. I didn't do much today. Rich went to the heart doc for a check up - all is good. I stayed home and watched hours and hours of House Hunters so I could delete them off the que (sp) so I have more room to record more!!! I can't get enough of that show. I didn't get to see the Cowboy game as channel 10 was off the aire at that time, but it's back on now so I hope they show more games. Right now I'm watchiing the Steelers vs Browns. neither my favorite, but it's football!! My grandfather's brother and family lived in Pittsburgh so I guess I hope they win - plus I loved Terry Brawshaw! Have a good nite and aa good Tuesday. Huugs, Wendy
Hello my dear friend Wendy, your page look so great. I like the color combination. I wish you a peacel sleep and sweet dreams. May tomorrow brings you a shower of blessings.
I pray you had as wonderful of a weekend as I did! The Texas Longhorns and the Cowboys both won. Today, I have already watered the backyard, 1000 steps, and fixed both of us a bacon, 2 eggs, tomato sandwich for brunch. But I want to share pictures from yesterday.
My grandson, Will, just woke up from a nap in this picture after a big meal at Saltgrass! Do you get sleepy after a big meal? Will is sitting in a chair and I am standing next to him.
In this picture, you can tell that he is 6'6" or so. Wendy is 6' and Bill is almost that tall. So you can imagine how he has to bend in half to give me a hug!
A very blessed day was had by all 5 of us. Wendy & I ran a few errands and then the guys met us at SaltGrass. Then Wendy and I sat on the patio for a couple of hours watching hummingbirds and talking while Rbt and Bill watched the Cowboy game as Will took a nap.
My goodness it is hard to say goodbye! Not only do they now live 2 hours away from us but with both being real estate agents, their life is non stop busy. Wendy's phone also rings constantly with people needing holistic consultations. I miss them so very much, FaceTime just isn't a real HUG!
Sunday is here and I am so excited! Our adopted family is planning a 2 hour one way trip to see us today. We already have plans for most of the day.
Can you see the smile on my face? My cheeks already hurt. Even though Wendy and I spent an hour on FaceTime Friday morning, she on her porch and me on the patio at each of our homes, it just isn't the same!
This has always happened to us when they are here, the soul retreat! Since they moved to the other side of the metroplex, we just don't visit in person as much.
Amazing how it makes us appreciate the little things even though we have never taken our time together for granted. Well, maybe when they lived 10 minutes from us!
We are all 5 blessed when they come for a visit and when they leave. I pray you have a Blessed Sunday as well.
Good afternoon to you. I'm enjoying this cooler weather here. I hope you aren't having hot weather. It was foggy this morning. Enjoy your afternoon and have a great weekend. Oh, before I forget, I have posted a new picture in my photos on my page. Yesterday I finished a Lego project and wanted everyone to see it that I don't have on Facebook. Take care my friend, many hugs, Cheryl
We made it! Friday is here! I had a good day at work yesterday! I was very busy all day just doing lots of catch up for Jody.
Not sure how we can have so many rain clouds and get so very little. Not sure how they can predict rain every day for a week and each day change it to not a chance.
However, we are very thankful for each drop. 1/10" for each of the last 3 days. More will come in God's timing. The cooler temperatures have really been a Blessing!
Besides, now I can get out there and watch the hummingbirds and take another 20 videos for today! Not kidding either. They fascinate me!
